How 'bout that blast? Did you feel it? I have to say something- don't mean to be a bummer, but that's 45 minutes from where I grew up and lived, in Dallas.
Looks so much like a bomb site. Ashes...people just
"Missing"? I think we know that translates to BLOWN TO BITS.
Didn't mean to be so graphic- sorry:)
Goodness. Glad you're North..ir was it West?

Hey Maryann! Thanks for the Meet and greet, all is relatively well, hope the same is true for you. Just dropping by to see what was going on, and couldn't resist the familiar faces. All this recent Cure activity has been so exciting!

I didn't even know this part of thecure.com still worked until I saw on my email that you left a note here.
I'm in charge of roasting the 23# T.G. turkey this year. It's 10:32 and it's in the oven and smells divine. I haven't roasted a turkey in 12 years! My mother doesn't even think I know how to cook. She's called over dozens of times to give me pathetic advice as would be given a child. :-P
HOWEVER, she was in charge of telling who to get what. She just now called me a few minutes ago to ask if I bought the potatoes. No. I wasn't supposed to. I'm turkey, stuffing, gravy. Well, nobody got the potatoes :-D This should be interesting. I don't think the senile member of the family should be in charge of the list next year.
Now, she's just called me to report my brother had a 5# bag and is bringing ME the bag to peel and boil. HA! They are all in for a shock. I make THE WORST mashed potatoes on the planet. Lumpy AND waterlogged. They'll see. I sure won't be given the potatoes next year. That's for sure. :-D
Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Hope you are keeping well!
I haven't been around for a while, my Mum died on 21st April (yep, Robert's birthday, and she was only 8 years older) and I had to spend some time in Germany to take care of everything. Still cannot believe it, it's all unreal but I am waiting for reality to hit me.
But I am back home now and will be around here more often.
All the best to you and take care.

hi Maryann thank you for sending me a message... how are you?
Posted by prism on Apr 19, 2009 2:34 PM (GMT-04:00)
i saw your comment and thanks for asking about my mom. i am fixen to go see her at the hospital right now. she is talking pretty well..her memory seems well and she can move her right side and her left arm moves every once in awhile. she says it all feels numb on her left side. she is very tiny and quite breakable and it scares me to try and move her arms and legs while exercising them into different positions. i am very fortunate tho, and thankful to have her so close to me in this world. again, ty for your concern and kindness.
blessings and peace,

DEFINITELY see the movie AFTER you read TWILIGHT. The book is WAAAAYY better. When you see the movie, you'll clearly understand why. Even so, the movie is pretty good as movies of that genre go.
THEN, read NEW MOON before seeing the next movie that comes out.
I really think that to see these movies first would spoil the books, which are so interesting.
