I saw him at a UK studio recording of a performance of the guys yesterday. He said they had cancelled 3 Mexico City gigs in the past because it was not financially viable to drag a load of equipment etc... to just the one gig. He is strongly rooting for a full South America tour including most of the countries, as he so wants to go see his wife's family in Argentina. He didn't say when but it does look promising. He knows the guys will get a very passionate reception in South America so it is something the management are considering. I personally think it will happen after the guys record their next album (according to Shawn they are probably going to go into the studio in March 09). He was pretty vague about the guys next trip to Europe too so it's the best we can hope for, for now... Hope you're good x

I might be going to the Paris gig on the 13th June (long story as to the 'might'). There's no soundcheck but I will ask Shawn or any of the others about touring in your part of the world again if I get a chance! No promises mind, like I said it's highly unlikely I will run into them although you never know :)And there I was moaning about not having seen the guys since December (they usually come over to promo singles etc...). I really should thank my lucky stars really. i will think of you next time I am tempted to whinge about their absence from the UK...lol

Well, not everyone has a video recorder.... and sending all of the videos to the video maker would be both costly and difficult, don't you think? I'm afraid I don't know anything about the live earth gig you referred to... I last spoke to Shawn in early Dec at the Brighton gig and that's when he told me of the bands plans to hit South America in 2009. I don't have communication with him other than that one time! xxx

What time is it now in Argentina? It's 4:30 a.m. here and I feel no sleep coming on yet. I travelled quite a bit in teh past but as for going south, that's something I plan to do when my daughter gets a bit older. But until then, I'll go to a fake bake for sun. I just close my eyes and visualize somewhere I've been. Have you travelled much or would like to explore one day? Travelling was the greatest education for me ~ have an adventure if you can one day.

The snow makes me appreciate all the other seasons, love the fall though. City summer heat sucks but cottage life can be sweet. It's actually not too cold at the moment but just to knock you sideways...we're expecting about 15 cm tonight and it gets as cold as -20something and that's without a wind chill. I lived in Martinique before and that's where I want to get back to in a few years, the tropics...so much happier in the sun and near the ocean or sea. Splash!

Shawn looks after us during soundcheck and he's around all the time. He's really friendly and happy to chat to fans about everything and nothing! I mentioned the prospect of a South America tour to him after one of the other Argentinian fans made a plea for a Wembley ticket and I tried to sort one out (it didn't happen mainly because they had to cancel their trip to London).
