I know another Indian on that day too. You know something? The way you write to me, kind of reminds me of one of my sons I have lost contact with....my first son. Think he just turned 25 in October. He lived in Chennai but sometime around Nov/Dec 2005 moved about 24 hrs away for a job. Kept in touch weekly or more for 2 yrs before he moved. Last I heard from him was April 2006. Never thought we'd lose contact cause we were very close. I miss him a lot. I still wonder if he will ever show up in my emails again. Anyway, just wanted to share that story with you. Four from India, Charu being one of them and 1 more from Pakistan who calls me Rock Mom...LOL Haven't seen her for a long time though. Seems like so many Indians are into computers. But what is HCL Technologies? What will you do there? I don't have any dogs but I had many until early 90's. I was gone a lot, meaning traveling to other states, vacations, that type of thing and it would have been too hard to take care of a dog. Cats are low maintenance and can be left over a weekend. Maybe someday I'll get a dog again. Hugs from mom :)

I have been here almost 6 yrs. During the last 3 yrs I've met many Indians. A select few started calling me "mom". I became very close to them. They rarely come here any more but I'm still in contact with them through the net and postal. This place used to be so busy, it was crazy. Now there's only a handful of members left since I came here. It's a great place to keep up on Enrique even if you check in now and then. Maybe you'll meet up with some other Indians. What part of India are you from.....Mandi, where's it near?
