It was almost 70 degrees here the other day and then yesterday it snowed. My sinuses are hating this weather. The other day was the first time I saw Jay live. I actually didn't get to see too much of his show. Since I was working the show I had to sneak in the back during his set. But I did hang out with him for several hours and cannot believe what a wonderful guy he is. So down to earth. He even let me pick out his outfit for the night. He was going to wear a vest and I screamed "No!" You know how I hate guys in vests. I picked out a nice matching ensemble. Greg Laswell was a sweetie too. I think they liked me because I brought them a bottle of whiskey. And I got to meet the infamous George S. Ausage. If you haven't friended him on Facebook yet, you have to.

It doesn't seem that the guys are going to hit Europe anytime soon :( I do so regret not organising to go to a couple of US gigs but it was either that or a proper holiday for hubby and I somewhere hot. He needs this holiday as much as I do.
That said I have a week filled with gigs this coming week and a wedding at the weekend. I am going to be sooo tired... Looking forward to your reviews and pics though, I feed off anything you USers can throw our way at the moment! xxx

Hey Vee.
I'm pretty good. Having a clearing out and cleaning bltiz on our flat this weekend. All my joints are aching but everything is sparkling! it's worth it. I am actually really excited as Shiny is coming to London on Monday and I'm spending a couple of days with her. We're seeing a UK band called the Fratellis and I'm so looking forward to it.
Weather's been a bit better the last couple of days but is set to turn again next week so we'll be wandering around London with our umbrellas and macs on :( Nothing us Londoners aren't used to!
Also i have a 2 week holiday in Greece coming up on 09/03 and I can't wait for that either. All this and no news of the guys coming over here :( oh well you can't have it all!

There are a couple more I'd like to go to but I have to see how my scheulde is. I have a lot of working gis through the end of August and at the beginning of Sept. so I'll have to see. My cousin is going to all of the shows in California. Her nephew (my cousin too . . .I knowm duh!) lives in LA. So your shows are coming up in less than 2 weeks!

Hi I am here, dealing with all the ticket fiasco. I have a cold, not a sinus thing, but its just annoying blowing my nose 24/7. i did get tickets to DC yesterday, and I am going to West Palm Beach, when those go on sale. thats my birthday weekend, and M5 closes that show, and its the last show.

They did video and audio so I'm not sure how they're going to sell it. They may sell a DVD/CD thing or double download. All I know is I hope they use ALL the footage. Adam screwing up and having fun with it was just hilarious and of course James, with his eye open as wide as possible, slowly creeping towards, staring directly into his eyes in an effort to make Adam laugh while singing at the end of a ballad. James had his face up there within inces of Adam's and Adam just kpet on singing, with his eyes shut and James eventually backed off and started laughing himself. What a nut!

It's beautiful here right now, but my co-worker just came in and told me we're expecting snow tonight and tomorrow. My husband is going to vegas for 4 days. It always snows here when he goes there. Jerk. Good for you for getting sleep. I took Thursday and Friday off, but now it looks like I have to go to court on Friday. I love getting all excited about days off just to have them ripped from me.

SLOWLY getting better. Yesterday did 1 load of wash, kids had no underwear. Today did 2 loads of laundry, I had no underwear or pjs. Son #1 and #2 have been asleep since 3. My medicine cabinet is lined with motrin x4, cold lollipopos, the fridge has applesauce, popsicles, gatorade x10000000 thanks to hubby, and he is sick too.

After my frist hard drive bew from a static hit, I didn't have any data backed up. When I rebuilt my laptop, I made back ups of almost everything so when THAT drive blew, I was able to re-up it. But I can still retrieve stuff from the 2nd hard drive when I get around to it.

I'm glad you backed your stuff up. I'm such a dork. Ready for this? Yes, I keep my iTunes library on an external drive, but that's only because my music took up my whole hard drive and nothing would work for lack of memory. So there's that, and then I back up my library to DVD once a month or more if something really cool happens to land there. THEN, I take those DVDs and keep them in a fireproof safe in my house, so if my house burns down, I've lost all the photos of my son's first three years, but at least I have the whole Kara's Flowers collection. iTunes has a fantastic backup program already built in, so I always recommend that to people, especially if they have a DVD recorder in the computer.

Not coughing as much as he is. He is on zythamax, but he keeps coughing my face, so I put my husbands sand mask on... lol I fell asleep with Tanner on the couch, and I woke up, it was 3:40! I was supposed to get Camden at 3:35 OMG I freaked, and the school is 10 minutes away! I walked in and hes like Where were you mom, you scared me, you are in timeout! Anyway, at least I get to rest a bit. The venue is at a college I am hoping to get there by 12 to see the buses pull in! That reminds me I gotta charge my camera! I will send you pictures! Im in section 117 for this, for 2nd row in NY.

I'm a bit yuck actually. The epic tale of my root canal has taken an infection turn and I'm in pain. I also have the beginnings of the flu (but annoyingly it's not come out properly yet, just want to get it over and done with!). It's just sad how I feel like every time I come onto this board it's like I have to babysit. I'm 31 years old and I feel like a grandmother. What is the difference between a "love" thread and a "perves" thread? People get pretty pervy in those love threads. Matt's thread was started because he mentioned at a show how he was happy people were finally respecting him because for a long time he felt out of place and like he had no fans. When someone told him that she thought he was sexy, he blushed. Hence, the birth of the Matt Perves thread. Uggh, why do I care. I have a life, dammit! I was awake at 4 am originally and have officially been awake since 5 am. It's not possible for me to sleep in....except when it's Monday morning and I have to get MiniMe off to school! Whenever I interview a prospective employee (because I make the majority of the hiring decisions), he checks their qualifications, and I ask "will it bother you that I listen to Howard Stern every day in my office, am very vocally opinionated, and use curse words to an extreme degree?" So far I've done very well with my hiring choices. We're a pretty raunchy firm.

For the perfect little guy! I think a few are scared of it!!!! SQUEAK! Give him a banana! Yeah It wasnt fun! Now they think it was the pancreis, which brought on anxiety, so had to get some ativan. Im going to my regular doc tomorrow. They did a CT scan of my head to make sure I had no issues up there, THANKGOD I didn't! They were thinking with dizziness and stuff it could be a tumor, I was like WHAT? Hence the anxiety! I think I need to let my dr fix the meds.

IN LAWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHH Im trying to go over there as LATE as possible tomorrow, 3 being the latest! I refuse to sit in the upper level and listen to my 21 month old neice sit there and be clingy to her mom who is 1 step away! The poor bil doesnt get a chance to be with his daughter except when wife is at work, and he watches her 1-2 days a week. As soon as my sister in law comes home the neice goes right to mom and is on her all night! She is so damn clingy and my sister in law just gives in! Its pathetic and I refuse to watch it! My kids hate it over there, just as my husband hated to go to his grandparents! Its like Cameron in Ferris Bueller, you cant touch anything or go anywhere, its retarded!

i'm no interested in what any of the boys do off stage, unless they're in the studio. perhaps SIN should create a separate section on the board for the teenies so they can yak about adam's personal life all they want, kind of the same way that swimming pools are divided into 2 parts: the deep end for adults and the shallow end which is also called the "kiddies' wading pool".

I don't know why it's doing that, it shouldn't. Some people have those errors because of the browser they use. Try it with Fire Fox (that's what Deb had to use).

Your welcome. Above getting my tail handed to me by SIN, the guys, the RIAA it really is totally worth having for the special features. I loved them the most especially the old show they put in there from back when they were teens a total laugh. Lots of people ask for things they shouldn't, the cd's and so forth. I mean I have a rep around the board of not uploading that stuff I don't have to say anymore so its been awhile since anyones asked. A few old people that no longer come here got very annoyed when I wouldn't but in my book its all about the karma :-) You are so going to love the dvd and wasted years live? best ever! Hiya, yes Friday the 13th has been requested before but here's how I see it. That is published and still available for purchase material so I won't load or share it. I refuse to (and rather would not get in trouble with the RIAA for doing so) pass on SAJ, IWBSBL, Fri the 13th Video or album or the Fanclub dvd that is part of the SIN fanclub membership. Its not really fair to everyone who purchased it, myself included and it takes royalties away from the band to share it under the table. Also a lot of people are getting taken down for stuff like that lately and I don't want to be one of them. I keep all published material including the bonus tracks and side projects (ie Adam and Kanye etc) off the board to protect my thread. Fri the 13th is really worth buying for the special features as well as the show and music. Its worth the money trust me Toodles Jen TDLQ

not a problem! i thought we were already friends i guess, but guess not! anyway, my experience! so at my show i went to last week (week from today exactly, SO SAD) i held up a sign for adam that said "pick please" and a few minutes later before starting one of the last songs he said "I promised this young lady a pick" and bent down on the edge of the stage and handed it to me.. i've been searching like CRAZY for a picture or video of this!! but i've had no luck thus far.. :(
