Yeah, I did turn it down. The station has been trying to give away tickets for the last few weeks but every time some wins a contest, they ask if they can swap the tickets for someone else's gig. No one wants to waste their time with Fleetwood. The 1980s came and went, someone should tell that to Mick Fleetwood - although he was fun in the Running Man. I stupidly drank coffee at 9pm and now I'm on a messageboard at 2am. He was definitely playing it up for her. I knew that before I saw the video. ...That thing with your cuz really upset me. I posted a huge response on WUC but deleted it. It basically went into all the reasons the guys don't go on the other board, which they have told us personally. But it's not worth my time. If I wanted a pissing match, I'd win hands down. Ok, the first part of your post confused me. PM or e-mail me. As for my son, yeah, we're having serious behavior problems because he knows how to do everything but his fingers are too small. He's working on a 100 piece puzzle but he can't pick up the pieces. And when I say "working on," he just has to see it put together once and he can do it again in just minutes, depending on the size of the pieces (not quantity, size). He throws tons of tantrums because of it. There's a lot more to it. At first it was just impressive watching his brain work, but now it's scary. He's three and teaches the 6-year-olds how to sound out words and do math problems.

You know, I probably shouldn't have written most of that. That came across as extremely ethnocentric when I didn't mean it that way. I just got a little pissed because she does seem to criticize the American way of life a lot. It's not perfect, but there are some really good things about living here.

Yeah, I realized after I wrote that that I had misinterpreted your "paranoia" comment. Sorry about that. Criticizing America, huh? Remind me to take a walk by the site of the Boston Tea Party and the Old North Church when I go into the city later. I tend to go by there anyway. My favorite graveyard in the world is the Granary Burial Ground across the street from my law school and next to the Old North Church. It has Paul Revere (though they're not sure his body is actually there), Mother Goose, John Hancock, Ben Franklin's parents, and coincidentally, the victims of the Boston Massacre. They died for a worthy cause.
