Glad you reminded me about the 'ooohhh ahhhh'! One of my cats has been ill, so all week she was my priority. I'll try to catch that tomorrow. I didn;t know you went to Hartford. That wasn't too far away for me, I just didn't have the time. Glad you had fun though.

I really should look in on TRT more, seems quite sane in there... I'm pretty good, hubby better and doing a training programme full-time with his work place (that said the organisation of it is pitiful, they couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery). He still gets quite quite anxious and depressed but it's nowhere near as bad as it was last year...small steps. I'm OK, January bluesy and in desperate need to book a holiday to look forward to but hubby having problems getting time off. Hope you're good, I will stop in soon, for now I need to surf for a new hairstyle, having a haircut on Saturday and I fancy doing something a bit radical (for me anyway:)! Hope you're good x

Hey...1st of all i shall start by wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...Im sorry it has been so late! I have been so busy down here (im underneath u right.aha.)lately! Things like work, school, boyfriend, friends & the biggest of them all have been FAMILY!!! I have been going throught a lot of family issues just recently which has made a huge impact on my life! Sorry i havent kept in touch i have missed your lounge chats lots but i need to go away and sort out my issues over here with the rest of my family. And no i havent been sleeping at all! It was just by chance that i came on here to this site after many hopeful lasting memories of something good i could do for myself like going onto my favourite bands site...I still remain my love of Maroon5 and it is now evident that i am going to his live concert in Sydney on April 4th! ANd cant wait, as it is the only thing to look forward to these days. I have been on holidays so that is at least one good thing that has happened but am going back real soon after the summer is over, over here. Again i am sorry for the late reply and keeping you waiting for so long, i just didnt think that anyone would notice my absence but obviously some people have... (Sorry the reply is very long) Take care V...Please pray for me and my family and in hopes i shall return.

Gee, thanks for asking about the hip. I was in pain for a year before giving in and having it replaced. It was deterioration of the bone, so I don't know what your mom went through with a broken hip. Actually, things are going relly well. It's been three weeks and I'll be going back to work on Monday. I felt really better this past Thursday and am using just one crutch instead of the walker. I drove today for the first time. The only real bite is wearing the TED (antiembolism) stockings and trying to sleep with the stupid wedge pillow between my legs. I usually end up sleeping in the lazy boy chair in the living room. Otherwise, all the info. I'd had from others about hip replacement was pretty much spot on, it wasn't too bad. (being 54 instead of 78 like my mom is a plus, I guess). It also helps to have someone with you when you go home in the beginning. Best of luck to her.

I'm so glad to see so many "older", "more mature" fans in here. Guess for a while I felt like there were too many teenies, tho' I should expect that. The fun part about trying to listen through each individual instrument is that it gives me an excuse to listen again and again and again... Haha. Technical training isn't necessary, just being able to find the words to express the feelings the music gives you is hard enough! I'd like to add you as a friend?? Mama
