It's going great. I was on MSN for 5 whole minutes last night! I had to stop the bleeding, literally!!! I keep the computer on while I'm practicing (in the event I get any IMs) and I snaped a guitar string. This like the 3rd time I was cut by a popped string! I should go back to the accordion but I'm not a fan of having my boobs squeezed . . . unless it involves George Clooney.

I wold've gotten the hose myself but I was busy being stampeded!! Damn, I have NEVER seen the fan go berserk and rush the stage at MSG!!!!! The Chief of Security told me that it started because "Some asshole from that Swedish band encouraged everyone to run to the stage." He said he'd been with MSG security for over 20 years and nothing like that's ever happened. he said the probably rushed the satge for Maroon 5 because, as he said it "the idiot fans, ESPECIALLY" the older ones, assumed if it was OK to do it for teh first band, then it was OK to do it for the major act."

Sexy? Doubt it! Someimes I use large format but switched to medium and I always use fine, and never shoot RAW. I'm not sure what you mean by M1, M2, M3 - to me those are buses that run up/downtown and cross town in Manhattan, although the M4 takes you right to the Garden's front door whereas the M34, will leave you off in fron ot Penn Station on 34th & 7th. Too much info?

It's just for a few weeks. I'll be perched in a luxury box which is pretty high up but I'll have a private bathroom, kitchen, room service and closed-circuit TVs so I can watch all the guys close up on all the screens or just one of the guys close up on all the screens!

The audience? I think while they were sleeping at Racdio City, the were taken away and palced on a plane, still in a sleep-state, and flown to Vegas, re-seated, and when they woke they thoughtthey were still in NYC. Yeah, I'm going to MSG.

We were there, by the GM building but neither of us brought gear. Cait didn't bring her camera this time because she won't shoot anymore freebies. But she did get paid for Fashion Rocks at Radio City as did I. But because of my injury, it would've been too difficult for me to lug gear 2 days in a row.

You'll have a great time but it's gonna be hot and crowded - dress light & breezy!!!!! One of the things I like the most about going to these little shows is hanging out and talking to the fans because they come from al over and they're all different ages, etc.

I didn't go to the Memorial Day mini concert but I went to the one at the very beginning of Feb. 2005. It was pretty cool - seriously! It was around 40 degrees and it was clammy weather mixed with rain & snow. Only about 50-75 people showed up. Because so few showed up, the tuned the stage around to face the building where the guys came out (it made the corwd look bigger) - Adam basically sang into the face of the wall! But whta was nice was despite how bad the weather was, James and Jesse stayed outside and signed autographs and posed for photos until the last fan left. They waved off security a few times because they wanted to hang with the fans for a bit. That was when James used the top of my head as a platform to sign autographs - I guess I was the right height for him. Oh and I still have that ridiculous giant foam rubber finer that says "Maroon 5 #1" - I'll post that in the NYC thread.

Nope.. back of the crowd. I mean, we'll have the performances up and running here in no time on Friday and all 6'6 guys will probably be out in full force like they were back on Memorial Day, but at the back of the crowd, if you're facing directly at the stage, the guys come out of the studio exit on the left. They'll have maybe one or two fences up, but they add more before the guys get out. That's what I was going to do this time around, just chill out near the back and wait for them to come out of the studio.. buuut I can't now, obviously.. ha.

It's not that bad.. I mean, just hearing them live is fun. If you're towards the back, you'll have a better chance of getting to the autograph area quicker than anyone else there. If I were to go again, I'd go straight to the back.. I mean, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Get there early. I'm talkin' like 1AM. Seriously. My friends and I got there between 12:30 and 1. We were first in line at the back of the Rockefeller plaza. My friend knew one of the guys working the sound from school so that's how we got into the "vip" pit. But then the girls behind us got into the side pit to the right of the stage by Dean and Deluca. But yeah. If you're first in line, chances are they'll bump you up to the side or front pit. Only downfall of that is you're kind of fenced in and if you want a pic with the guys or an autograph, you'll have to rush outta there. but yeah, I'd get there early and as soon as the guys wrap up the last song, head towards the back if you're interested in the autographs/pics with them. Assuming they do it, which they more than likely will.
