Yeah I've been aboard member for awhile I just don't talk a lot :D But yeah ever since that first time VH1 played the music video for "H2B" back when they first really broke it big I was hooked. Needless to say, they are still my favorites by a margin. :)

hi again. every foreign music artists performs here are so surprised that we can sing their songs. 'coz at other asian countries just shout whenever they sing. some western people who were never been in the philippines, thinks that our country is not civilized. we are very updated at most things. i think you should visit philippines. enjoy our beautiful beaches. visit our famous boracay beach, known for very fine white sand and sunsets. inspite some economic problems, we can still enjoy shopping. we have LOTS of shopping malls. 'malling' is what we call when we shop or just stroll around. best season to visit is around april to may (best for beaches)or christmas season (to see christmas decors, lights, and other filipino traditions). actually we have the longest christmas, it starts on september to january 6.

hi! your a cool lady! i'm turning 31 this february (same age with other M5 members). we grew up exposed in jazz (dad side), classical (mom side). ya! same with you, i don't know what made me hook at their music since i had 'songs about jane'. actually my dad who really bought the cd. he bought just maybe for curiosity and i don't expect that he'll buy such this kind of music for his personality. do you some family members who loves M5 too?

thanks for your reply. i really like MAROON 5. it's because it suits my kind of rock music and they produce good music videos. i have lots of other favorite artists at other music genre, like: jazz- CHRIS BOTTI, and in pop: 98 DEGREES (i just got stuck at those early year 2000) and more... i also love retro music (60's and 70's). i'm pleased to add you. i wonder, how many male members who joined here? ya, you're right! i've never wrote a comment yet to a guy.

Oh cause at the Bucknell show after the fact it dawned on me one SIN member and I can't remember her name now, I wish I could. Had a sign that said play Ragdoll or Wasted Years for Mama Steph. I am foaming at the mouth for new stuff from Bob on the guys. Hope to hell its available here LOL or I'm gonna pay thru the nose in postage to get it here immediately (some things you just need UPS next day delivery from the states LOL) I can not wait for the next tour. I freaken LOVE hunting and ripping and editing and oooooooh I mean the chances of me seeing any shows next tour are as good as getting John Mayer in the sack LOL but the hunting editing hearing about everyones shows and trying not to be too jealous LOL. I can not believe Lou biked all that way my god you just explaining it exhausted me LOL I need a lay down now! Least he had a ball doing it and got back safely. tell you kids today have WAY too much energy LOL. Harry's doing well here. He was meant to get more speech therapy but his therapist lost her job so now he's in limbo with it, which is annoying and Stel was accepted into Pre primary for next year, she'll go five days a week :( friend of mine said what are you going to do with all that spare time? I love water skiing and cross-country skiing (you know me - gotta have snow in the winter. My eye - i's actually getting worse. It's hurting today. It never did before so I'm wondering if it's the weather. I am scheduled to see a THIRD specialist in two weeks. If the pain persists or worsens, it'll be a lot soon than two weeks!

Of course I accept your friend request. Listening music in the dark is great, especilly if you can't fall asleep. And it is different. I actually hear things that I hadn't heard before, even though I had listened to the song like a hundred times. So, when I read about the "In the Raw" EP, I knew I should listen to it in the dark the first time. That way I could get the whole experience. And I have to thank you (and Jen) for doing this. I really appreciated it, especially since I never been to a Maroon 5 concert.

Morning kitty cat yea I know duckies became kitty's they also became doodblebugs and dolls LOL I just never call anyone by their name its a sign of affection I picked up from my grandma. I was her pet duck my whole life lol (frankly towards the end I think its because she couldn't remember which grand kid was which LOL) Anywho. Everybody writing back and forthin the two threads during the show made it fun. The Grammys aren;t what they used to be. 100 awards were given out during the pre-show which a lot of us watched on the internet live stream. They gave out 15 (+/- 2) during the actual broadcast and some of those 100 pre-show awards were BIG ones! I remember as a kid, almost everyting was given out duinr the show (though there were less categories back then) and I remember that when the gospel singer came out to perform which was right before the gospel awards, everyoe would go to the kitchen or tun in for a quick shower. It also used be be on Wednesday nights.

It's holding up . . . so far!Right now I have to find my CDs to re-upload my programs into the new pimped-out hard drive. Woo hoo! Now that I did that, I may do one of my desk tops and change out that hard drive for a 640 GB. That one needs a new screen, mouse and keyboard. Screw it, never mind. I don't like desktops as a rule but the one I have isn't work upgrading. I'll just do a data tranfer if I'm in the mood to get a new desktop. Those are cheap these days but I still prefer my laps.

cyber speak does indeed miss the nuances of actual speech. I should probably edit myself before posting but I'm not one to censor myself when I have a point to get across. Maybe I should, in the future, think before I 'speak' but then the gut reaction will have been watered down and not be worth expressing. yes there has been bitching and just general negativity in other threads and I'm just tired of it. If you don't like it fine, its your right to have an opinion, i get that but to go on and on and on about how you think its shit is just beyond the measure of good taste and so crass. I'll be the first to admit, I'm not crazy about the remix of LOYT or even IINSYFA and I wasn't real happy with the Rihanna collaboration but I'm willing to at least give them a chance to grow on me. And its their music and what they choose to do with it or allow to be done with it is their choice. I applaud their courage in taking chances and respect their decisions. Why can't everyone else??just mho...and you are all free to disagree but for pete's sake don't make a thread about it.

After working my ass off at Fashion Week, that's the frame I was left with after granola bars, green tea and veggie sticks...that was taken when I had just finished my course of antibiotics for the lovely abcessed root canal I got on my birthday...so I wasn't able to comfortable eat. I have since re-kindled my affair with bread and I can't get enough of them buns!!!! I'm trying to figure out how to frame it. I want to frame it with the three drumsticks I have, but there's a spacial-relations issue. The sticks are longer than the diameter of the drumhead. Uggh...what to do?? I'm trying to avoid getting it professionally done because my bank account can't handle a $500 custom frame job right now, but I think that's just what I'm going to have to do.

It was very difficult! Like so many of the fans there, I was rasied at Yankee Stadium the same was I was at MSG. I went to my first Yankees game when I was 5 (I still have thr program) and I went to my frist Rangers game when I was 4. I thought no other sports moment that I personally experienced in my life could ever cap being at MSG the night the Rangers won their first Stanley Cup in 54 years . . . I was wrong!

I don't remember where I found that, it may have been on this board. Yeah, I love the BEATLES!!! I have all the original albums on CD as well as a couple of anthologies. I love BB King too, I was so upset that I missed him when he came through Austin a few years back. I missed Pavarotti when he came through too, needless to say I was devastated and now I'll never see him live(no pun intended). My taste in music is very ...I guess eclectic would be the word. Like Sir Jamesus, I don't believe in guilty pleasures. I'm proud of my collection cheesy as some selections may be. Oh the thrill of going through tons of pics and tagging them. Just letting my favorite buds know that I didn't forget them. BTW, you hold a special record that will NEVER be broken. Yea, it is quite a lot of money for someone my age. But I am working VERY hard for it. I'm trying the radio stations. Maybe I'll get that 4-pack of tickets FRONT ROW. That would be so amazing. But hm I dunno. If I don't get Golden Circle, I'll probably get the Price Level 2 or buy non-SIN seats and go with a couple of my friends. I'll keep you updated. See you there somehow =D

It's like when some asshole went through my town and sprayed swastikas on everything. In case you didn't see it-I posted in that thread. I don't think the SIN presale for Hershey is 5/3. It's listed as 5/3 under the public onsale column. 5/3 is a Saturday (when most Ticketmaster tickets go on sale), so I would guess that the SIN presale will be 4/28. Of course, that's just a guess, but on the SIN site, the presale dates still say TBA.

It's actually not a bad deal...that hotel is fabulous, that time of year; who knows how much it costs a night. I will probably go and look it up. I mean, just buying tickets is $300. It's not a bad deal, and yeah, I can be there in an hour and a half. Hubby will disown me...he already thinks I'm insane, this will just prove it.

I think I might be on there.It's funny facebook has lost it's shine for me a bit. I go on there for a few minutes each day but I find the pages so busy and complicated. What with all the additional games etc... so time-wasting and a bit tiring. I usually just respond to messages I have been left.I think I'm just too used to the colour of this board too! As to drama, well we all like a bit of it from time to time... nothing wrong with that. The UK ladies are cool, we all just share stuff from our lives which is nice. I do miss the camaraderie that was present when I joined but a lot of people have drifted since then (as is normal). I do wish we could get a bit more 'adult' in there too although I wouldn't wish the younger fans to stay away. We are inclusive at least. You have a good week too Steph xxx

I see. Cool. Mechanicsburg is 28 minutes away from Hershey, not counting traffic. I'm guessing my mom will probably go since she wouldn't trust me for these kind of things, but thanks for the offer. I'm hoping regular seats will be cheaper. I might even just get regular seats and go with a bunch of my friends. *sigh* These prices really f*ck everything up.

Did you decide what concerts you're doing and which soundchecks now with those ticket prices out there? Geeeeeeez. Way too expensive. I just showed my mom the prices and she said no soundcheck for me anymore. I seriously feel so depressed about that. I was hoping that maybe if you're gonna do just SIN seats for Hershey, we could get tickets together [does that mean the seats will be together?] Cause none of my friends or family are going to pay $175+ for those seats so most likely I'll sit alone and my mom might just get cheaper regular seats. Gah I'm in such a bad mood because of those prices right now. lol.

I was planning on going to the WI one but now I'm only going to the IL one because these tickets are SO EXPENSIVE! I couldn't believe how much one soundcheck ticket costs! Hey Mama,What's going on? I think it's cool that Christen is from your hometown. It's a small world. Christen is great. She had me laughing so much. She and Kyle are sooo nice. I had a lot of fun that day until the shady record company people came. I might not do the soundcheck for the concerts. It's just too much money to be spending on a concert. I have the money but the ticket prices are ridiculous. Since M5 performs before the CC, I'm going to see Sara and M5 then I'm leaving. lol

Yay! I'm so excited that you'll be going! And yes, I just joined SIN right before they announced the tour dates since I wanted to get at least SIN seats if not soundcheck. I'm trying to either a) save up like crazy for soundcheck or b) practice violin 8 hrs a week to earn soundcheck tix from my parents. If they only sell the tickets in pairs though and none of your friends would want that, it would be great if we could split since my parents would not want to spend money on two since I'm the only person in this family who would actually get the full enjoyment out of it, and I doubt any of my friends would want to spend $100+ on a band they only enjoy and not love. I'll be wishing all my 11:11 wishes on getting a soundcheck ticket....now all I have to do is tell my parents I am a member of an online board and I've met so many wonderful people...dunno how that's gonna go with my parents since their so uptight about meeting people online =| Talk to you soon =]
