The weather has been crazy here too. We haven´t had this warm in a very long time. My holidays went well, family stuff so nothing very special but fun anyway. I´m feeling so excited once again. I watched those Finnish CC interviews and he definitely told interesting things...ooohh. Man...I can´t wait to get my hands on the new album...and some tour days would be nice too. He hasn´t been In Europe for a while, so it would make sense he´ll be back soon. Illinois deserves some action too.

CC sure knows how to surprise. So cool. I guess we never know what he is gonna sing. I´m so jealous...Pushing Forward Back, goooooosh. I have been sending requests to our radio stations too. They don´t play so much CC´s solo but lots of Audioslave and Soundgarden. Once they even played Say Hello To Heaven, I was blown away. That was so cool. CC should really get credit for his solo too. Euphoria Morning and Carry On are so awesome, I don´t understand why people ignore them. I´m sure that CC will return to Chigaco area. It´s such a big city. Travelling can easily be expensive, but luckily my dad works for a Finnish airline company. I have been planning to go to London and Germany( and meet BritChic and Mo)...but nothing´s sure yet. I´m still waiting for CC to keep his promise. He said twice in the Helsinki show "We´ll be back very soon" Helsinki rocks!". The winter is almost here, it´s so cold. I´m just freezing all the time:). Es, I can't believe what happened last week! I just got home today and Thursday nite I met Chris! But I don't even have the picture yet because I had to use a disposable after my battery died from all of the Seattle pictures, and then I've been traveling to Maryland and just got home today. I would wait for the rest of my life if I had to. But living in insecurity sucks and badly. I bet he will come to Illinois many times, it´s just a question of time. Finns love him too, he is really popular here. Wide awake was the most played song on our best radio station (probably one of the most popular ones too) for at least 4 moths. But nervous too! All of this traveling around is a little nerve-wracking, but definitely worth it! We are going to be taking notes, for sure! 5 Chris shows in one month! That is more times than I've seen any one band ever in a lifetime! Usually I spread it all around, ha ha, but this year has been all about Chris. I'm going to see Velvet Revolver this Friday though. I'm a concert going fool lately!

Those are the words I’ve been searching for all this time! – Exactly!! He has such a strong presence on stage that you really have to tear your eyes away to focus on the other guys at times (especially when, you know … he’s got less on, lol). I was in about the ‘third row’ of people, so yep, I did get a good view ;) I think I would probably do the same as you and go for seats though, if I was meeting Chris afterwards. That would definitely be the highpoint of the night, and should not under any circumstances be jeopardized by mosh pit-hair and smeared makeup! How did your meet with Chris go? What was he like? I can’t make any of the other UK shows, but like you, I’m really anxious to hear about them. Eriica’s experience got me all fired up for my show! And then it was so nice to come back here to share my own l’il story with everyone. I really hope that Chris does do some shows for you in those remaining two months! You need to O_O what we’ve all been talking about for yourself!!

The Buckley thing is I think nov. 16-18th or somewhere around there.That must of been so cool to see Jeff in a setting like that. You have the same birthday as my grandma, we lost her a few years back.She died 2 days before her 90th birthday and it was weird becuz the funeral was on her birthday....sorry didnt mean to get all gloomy in your comment box here.

My birthday is 12/12.No,Kayleen is my oldest. She's 9 then I have Donnie 8,Raymond who will be 7 on the 19th of this month and Andilyn(said like Andi-Lyn) is 4. Our labor day was good we went to the park and had a lil picnic. I heard they are having the 10th annual Jeff Buckley tribute in chicago at uncommon ground! Thats the place where you had hot chocolate and me & Donnie had the vodka n cranberry. I had no idea that Jeff Buckley had played there! I thought that was kinda cool when I found out. Those sinus infections are a pain..I hope she gets feeling better soon..that does suck!

Yay, it's September!!!! Less than a month now till the big times on the West Coast. I have a lot going on right now and haven't thought about it that much lately what with my son starting first grade, my mom's apartment almost being finished (she is going to move out of my house, woo hoo!), my hubby started a new job, and I have so many concerts to go to, lol! Somehow I wasn´t nervous at all when I went to the room and saw them. Gooosh, that was unbelievable. As I tried to show to the man who took the pictures how to use my camera, I couldn´t press the button cause my hands were shaking...but I was just so high not nervous:). I was just talking with them all the time. Hahahhaaa...and Im shy. What the hell happened to me. They really opened me:). I love your pic, it so great and you look so beautiful too. No, I did not make it to the Milwaukee show. It is about a four hour drive one way for me and during the week makes it tough to get there. I did see CC in Minneapolis in April. He was amazing. that about Hurricane Katrina. That is so thoughtful of you. Yes, the area I grew up in was devastated, the MS Gulf Coast. My mom was living in Biloxi and lost her home. It was the most terrifying thing I have ever been through, not knowing what was happening to her there while I was in TX. She came to live with us after that and is still with us. My husband and I are helping her have an addition built onto our house for her to live in permanently. When I heard the song Wide Awake for the first time, I cried buckets. What a great song. Chris truly gets it. What our government and Bush did after that was just despicable. I believe Bush should be indicted on murder charges. He is responsible for the deaths of scores of people. Just awful. So that song rings so true to me. I am so glad he did it at Live Earth. I would LOVE to hear it live, haven't yet.

But I actually did lost all my senses and barely said three things "hi", "thank you", and "happy birthday, by the way" LOL I am insane! Yogi was sitting right after Chris and I was perfectly fine with him and Corey. I even made a joke about Corey's signature (the $ sign) I said "oh I will be getting lots of money, thanks!". I wish I could've been so relaxed with Chris. Hopefully next time :)

I've met him once on May 2nd. I was one of the first winners in the fisrt round of contests. Pretty exciting! I talked to you on the phone that day in line. I remember. I was a nervous wreck all day because I knew I would be meeting him that night! Anyway, your picture is beautiful. You don't look nervous at all. I love how he's leaning in to be next to you. That's awesome! He doesn't do that for everybody, you know. ;) S.

I won't be going to anymore shows unless they come back to Texas. My Chris funds are running pretty low right now. But I got to go to four shows so far. I feel so lucky because the timing of everything was so great for me and I had the most fun ever. Read about your m&g, wow!!! Sorry that you got sick afterwards, hope you are enjoying your vacation!

I am glad your show is safe! Whew! I was wondering about the show he did here, the conflict in scheduling; I wonder if he had thought he could do it all {what they arranged for him} but in the end was so exhausted he opted to skip those two? I don't know. But yes, I hope he does make it up but good. Especially to those who lost their meet and greet. Like Shantasa said, our San Diego show was never rescheduled. I don't know if he realizes just how far out of the way Viejas is for San Diegans? Worth it for sure but way the heck out there. Traffic here, it is hard anymore to avoid rush hour. There is always traffic. Not as bad as Los Angeles but still not so great. I remember when I could time my running around and miss it all. Right after 8 a.m. and up until about 4:30. Blech! I go back to work today....double blech! You have a great one!

To have so many shows close by to catch. Is it difficult to get to them? For me, all I think of is the traffic. Blech! Too much grief. There is so much traffic between here and L.A., more than I like. Yuck. Hours spent in traffic, going so slow. But, I'll do L.A. when I can. Oh, I wish I had internet access at work! I also hope that CC is getting his rest and that the tour gets back on track~as long as he is well. I mean, we missed the AS show here years ago and he took a lot of flack for it but, heck, being tired and even talking is such a strain on the voice, you know? Take care and I'll be around! Any getaway is great. I ended up going last night to the Wiltern and it was a nice reprieve from here. I hope that your show doesn't get postponed, that will be bad for two reasons. First that you don't see your show but mainly because it may mean his has pushed himself so hard that he needs to take a longer break than just a few days! I hope he bounces back alright. I am glad you like the M&M's. I was going to change it since it was so different, thanks for that comment, it was timely, for sure. ;0) Have you tried to make yourself? There are so many CC threads, there is always someone who opened a new one. I dont get it either, c´mon, we talk about music in the threads and music is the best thing in the world to connect people. I would understand the agressinity, if the people would post their comments in the PJ thread, but this is for other kind of music. I dont care anymore. I´ve positive reaction on other boards and this is what counts for me. I make the same street team stuff like you everyday. And I ordered flyers I´ve created to spread them everywhere, have two t-shirts with the info of Carry On on it, (with the one from the concert, I´ve three) I wear them, that the people maybe have a look at it and ask me, but untill now there is no feedback. Sadly! And, hahaha, do you know what is funny, haha? I´ve bought the keyholder too, and I do it the same way like you, I hold it with the letters to the top, that everyone can see it and wait if somebody talk to me about it, but NOTHING. Gosh. And the worst thing is, I gave a friend of mine to his birthday CC´s new single as a gift, (I do it now to everyone´s birthday) and do you know what his wife said?? She said: "Who is Chris Cornwall?" I said: "What" Dont you know the James Bond soundtrack?" She: "No" Me: "And by the way, his name is Cornell"! Pffff Can you imagine that? OMG, one more reason to do still more and work harder on it. Its so annoying sometimes! Yesterday I was on the Muse board and I´ve replied to your entry, but I could write it two times, if you need to much time to write, than you are automatically logged out and all my text was gone away and I could write it new. I was really angry about it, because sometimes its not so easy for me to write something in english I always have to look in a dictionary and it wasnt a short text, so you can imagine that it needs a little bit of time for me to write this. Hi there - The show rocked!!! I loved every minute of it - CC was fantastic! I was just about 10 rows from the pit on the right side of the venue. I kept looking for a girl in a cute skull t-shirt, but never caught a glimpse of anyone with that on! There was just so much going on. Hopefully we will be able to connect some time in the future. I have some great pics I took during his autograph signing session (I stood in front of him for about 20 minutes 'casually' watching him sign stuff - it was amazing! I was within 5 feet of him the whole time, which was awesome, except his huge bodyguard stood in front of him practically the whole time, so I have many photos of his elbow! Anyway, hope to hook up soon!

My mom really insisted on going. She is a really cool mom. And she liked it, but not loved it. Billie Jean has always been her favourite song and she likes Like A Stone and Be Yourself too and of course You Know My Name. She says to me that Chris´ music is too heavy for her taste. Well she is part of the disco generation and she doesn´t know English so well. I´m on my way to convert her totally. I think I have scored one goal already.

I know a lot of times the ticket will have a seat number even when it's all general admission and it seems as though all the shows he's done so far have been that way. If you want to make sure I'd just call the venue and ask them. :)

For the great welcome! I was wondering if you made it down to the HOB for Tom that Saturday. I found out that all the tickets were gone, so I didn't go, but listened to Tom take over Q101. I am sure I will see you again, real soon! Jill

I just wish the weather woudl ahve been a bit more enjoyable! I can't get away for teh Indy show. The kids are busy with end of school stuff so I have to be home. It is really hard for me to travel...but i will always get to Chicago! Hope to be able to get to a few more if possible! I am missing him in vegas by 4 days!!!

Yeah I noticed your pic. My husband and I met Tom last year too.. the day revelations came out. He was at a place called rolling stones records signing stuff for people.Super nice dude. Are you goin to the chicago show?
