Dude, that was by far the worst dashboard show i've been to.Basically everyone around me was there for Panic, they were all screaming, smelly, 13 year old girls. I kept looking around as they were playing and noticed that i was the only one singing that i could see. I basically almost got kidnapped by this drunk guy that was following me around everywhere, trying to get me to dance with him, hah. The crowd sucked, panic sucked, and the set was WAAAAAAAAAY too short. I don't understand how it's supposed to be a co-headline yet Panic probably played about 5 more songs then dashboard.But while they got to play, i enjoyed just being able to see Chris and hear him again. And yeah, i met him & the boys after the show, we waited around for quite a bit. But it's always good to talk to them :) I'm siked for the show tonight!

SNL isnt touristy...I waited for hours to get standby tickets to the daily show with john stewart!!!! lol yeah well I am not a club person I prefer a bar but I have been to some clubs....my friends would recommend the marquee, suzie wongs, and bungalow 8....p.s. - let me know what you think about the dashboard rockband tour show.....!!

you are not crazy...my comment disappeared!!!!!!!!!!! I do not know what happened...But let me recap what I said before...lolOverall the rockband show was disappointing....the set was too short, the other bands were HORRIBLE, I felt out of place because I was the only one in my area screaming and singing along, and Chris didn't seem like himself...but then again he had to pump up the crowd for panic which I wouldnt be too excited about either...oh and the cherry on top were the 14 year olds who had nothing better to do but screech for panic...pretty lame....going there made me long for a SOLO tour even more!!!! uhhh I cant wait until!!!You should def go check out WXOU radio bar...its on hudson btw 11th and perry...its a really relaxed vibe, chill bartenders, and good prices...plus Chris did an interview there...thought that was pretty cool...And also there is Bleeker St....its a stop on the green line....its a cool music/bar scene.....also there are some good bars on second ave btw 73rd -78th I will message you when more come to me...hope that info helps though...

haha that's awesome... and yeah a little weird at the same time. I'm pretty known for doing the old double guns. It's hard to tell in most pictures cuz my fingers are pointed so straight at the camera you only see the tip. I make fun of others for their poor pointing abilities when they try and imitate me.

Well, if you want to work in this area here in Brazil, you must take a college course called: "Publicidade e Propaganda". That's the name of the course and it takes 4 years to graduate. If you say you wanna work with "Propaganda" in Brazil, it's basically the same thing of saying you wanna work with "Publicidade". It's the same course anyways. ;o)

Latin languages always have many things in common (French, Italian, Spanish, Potuguese...), but Spanish is very similar to Portuguese. I can't speak Spanish, but I understand almost everything reading a Spanish text and many things listening to a Spanish speaker.I know that is harder for Spanish people to understand Portuguese, but it's also possible. You are American, so I'm not sure if all this applies to you... I suggest you take some Portuguese lessons if you plan to get in touch with Brazilian "ad men" (by the way, how do you name a person who works in this area? We say "publicitário", but I have no idea how to say that in English... "ad men" is a poor translation, haha!).

yeah, this "tour" wouldn't be exceptionally worth travelling across state lines for...its more like a <em>temporary DC high </em>:D (not that I've ever had one-haha)! Too bad your list of shows has dwindled down, that's no fun-maybe you'll have more to go to once the <em>real </em>tour comes around. I on the other hand am only going to the one DC show here in Houston so that should be quite exciting and its not too far away...

I have thought about selling my plasma before. But last time i tried to donate something (blood) I passed out and woke up hyper-ventilatiing..... after an experience like that, you get a little jumpy around needles. no i didn't get to see them. And it really sucked because the tickets were only 15 bucks. But I was SO flat broke that i couldn't even afford that. And i was gonna go see them in sept. when they are with counting crows and maroon 5, but those tickets cost like 100 something dollars. And that is just WAY to much!i don't know why i thought you were from south flordia....my family mostly lives in jacksonville. I used to have family that lived in st. petersburg, but she moved to jacksonville too. I think there is some distant family from my dad's side that lives in florida, but i don't know them.

Yeah, I totally understand what your saying. I don't wanna get stuck and have no experience with a job in my major. So i'll for sure look into some internships. Thanks for the advice :)And yeah i'm living on campus, the dorms were pretty decent. Everyone always makes it sound so horrible, which I still don't understand why. Guess i'm too excited to be nervous hah. I've also heard about that area, hopefully things will be alright though. And thanks for looking out for me, it's been cool being able to talk to someone that's familiar with everything :)

Yeeeeeesssss, i'm so excited! I actually just got back from this huge orientation thing for the new students, to kinda get the feel for things. I had been there once last year for prospective student tour, but this time everything seemed so much bigger, and just made me even more excited to be going there. So yeah, i'm definitely pumped hah. Did you ever see/go to/hear about a short-lived arcade and go kart place called Springz? I've never been to Appleton, but I think it was near a mall or something.

Yeah, let's keep the faith. About the flight tickets: I used to check 3 websites 2-3 months before my trip. They are www.southwest.com (usually the cheapest one), www.orbitz.com and www.expedia.comI always found tickets for $49 plus taxes. I used to travel every other weekend. Ahhhh, those were good times. :o)

You spend 50 bucks to fly from anywhere in the US to NY. I know it because I visited almost every corner of the US when I lived there (2006-2007). But now, I'd have to spend more than 1.5 thousand dollars to get a flight ticket from here back to the States... not counting visa costs. It's impossible. It hurts me, but I must accept the truth. :S

In December I'll finish college (Journalism). I've been in the US for an exchange program. My student visa expired and I came back home after spending almost 2 years there. It was my first and probably last time in the US. =/

It was more than amazing. The beaches there are so beautiful as well as the resort. We got to swim with dolphins and all this other rad stuff. And yeaaah, I got really tan and managed not to get burned, which was awesome :) How have you been?

I always think about it, I have never been in a proper relationship and its depressing, but what can I do? :/ Haha somehow Dashboard relates to everything. :). You should ask him, he's an expert! Our beaches are disgusting. The water is polluted. Ohhh, well hopefully he shows up at one of them, that would be awesome. But, the Delray shows were really great, it just seems like everytime he has a show close to home, he gets really nervous, which I can totally understand. It's just different not having the funny banter, and what not. But it was still great, i'm probably being too critical lol. I never got to go to the HOB shows, which i regret, I heard they were amazing. And, same school's out for me too, graduation is this saturday so i'm really excited, other than that nothing special.

UF was one of my other choices, but UCF just seems more convienient - closer to home, the fact that i go to Disney every 4 months making the drive easier, everything you basically said, and duh cause Dashboard always plays HOB! I'm set, haah. And i'll try to keep myself outta trouble :)

Hmmm, I know Boca has a lot of retirement homes, and being Boca, they all are probably really nice. But, there is one that I've heard thats gotten all these awards and stuff. I can't remember if it has a golf course or not, but everything else there is really nice. Did you find out if they are allowing cameras at HOB? I really want to bring mine but I'm afraid they won't let us and then take the cameras and make you pay $5 to get it out. It says no cameras on the ticket but Chris wants us too. Damn, I'm so confused.
