yeah I liked it a lot really. It took three or two days to drive there and my mom was being stubborn and she never got me batteries so I couldn't listen to AFI. But other than that I loved Canada. Ooh and while there, it began to rain, hail and the sun was out all at the same time. My aunt told me to go inside while all of this was going on but I stayed outside and went through this amazing experience it only lasted about five minutes but yeah it was rad. That never happens in California weather-wise. Do you like the Blaqk Audio cd? I'm supposedly getting my copy of it today.

When I went to purchase CexCells I went into the magazine section of the store and read the entire BA article, which I liked! I didn't wind up buying the magazine because I didn't have enough money to buy the CD and the magazine, and I know my dad wouldn't lend me the money. Here's exactly what he'd say - "You're asking me to get you a magazine for only one article on Blaqk Audio? That's ridiculous."

Actually, I wound up being able to go purchase it on the day it was released with my brother because Dad was nice enough to take us! So what exactly do you think of it? I really like it, though I'm not very keen on the idea of the whole sex image...thing they're portraying. I was a bit disappointed about that. I do like to go to Starbucks but not for their coffee...I don't like nuts or coffee! I go there for their smoothies and tea lattes, which are very good!

yeah I can't wait for the cd either. I have to get mine on Fri. because that's the day my mom gets paid. So I saw on your profile that you live in Canada. I went there twice for a wedding they were both during the summer and I think it's beautiful. We went to Calgary, Alberta Canada and we went to the Edmonton mall it was way rad and massive. I don't even think we got half-way through it. I live in cruddy Pittsburg, CA where nothing ever happens it's so boring... well where I live at least. I see myself living more in a place like San Francisco or Berkeley. But I don't know yet I'll find out later when I get older and when I figure out how to drive. What about you?

I'm happy that you'll get to make $11-$13! Pretty good! I too was disappointed at the fact that there was no Cheshire cat. I was also disgusted that the person who played the smoking caterpillar had a Jamaican hat on with the dreads and the accent and every other thing. He didn't say anything relevant to the script - they changed the caterpillar's role around to be a comedy act and to mock Jamaicans and stereotype them for weed users. Today I out with my friend Mel to go see "Hairspray" which was good and to go get our nails done. I had a gift certificate given to me for my birthday. I got my nails painted this deep magenta. I guess you had a point with the sex thing but still..you know? Hope AFI visits you all in Canada!

But seriously, I'm happy you have a job and can make some money! sorry...ANYWAY "Grease" was pretty good. I'd give it a B. I'm definitely excited about CexCells though I can't help feeling a little disappointed in the fact that quite a few songs are discussing sex. I didn't think Davey/Jade would do that. Maybe they're mocking today's sex scene-image thing?...I don't know, but I went on youtube and EVERY song from Blaqk Audio was already posted. Trust me, they were the real songs because I sampled them on BA's site when they let you purchase ringtones. I'm a bad girl - I tried to keep BA a surprise after "Stiff Kittens" and "Bitter For Sweet" but I couldn't resist. OMG the CD's going to be amazing! Trust me. I'm very mad because I was coming close to seeing a BA concert in NY but my dad decided against it because there are a lot of older kids/adults who go there and may bring drinks and other things and "it's not a proper environment for a 13 and 12 year-old to be in." (My brother is 12 and he'd want to go too.) I'm not saying that's what people at the concert do, that's just what my dad said. Later today I'm going to my friend Becky's house for a get-together with her, Mel, and Elizabeth (Whom I haven't seen in 2 months because she lives in Vermont)! After that I'm going to a play (Alice In Wonderland) with Mel that's being put on by the theater kids at Mel's art camp (Mel does the painting part of the camp). Unfortunately, I heard that this dork Chris at my school is playing the white rabbit, and the white rabbit is such an important character of the story and he's probably going to ruin it! Also, there is no Cheshire Cat! :( But this still should prove to be hilarious to see, so why not?

I haven't talked to you in forever! I got back yesterday and the experience was AWESOME! I missed you, though. I hope you have fun camping and I hope you get this message before you go! I have volleyball camp on Monday and yesterday we went to New York to see "Grease" on broadway and went out to dinner, which was excellent. Thanks a lot, but remember to NOT give me credit for playing "Miss Murder" because as I said it's too difficult for me to play. Badminton, huh? I've never played that sport so it's cool to know someone who does. I'm 5'1". Also, if you read my profile you'll see that I hate any labels (including "emo") as well. Oh, I just want you to know that I won't be able to talk to you for three weeks starting Sunday because I'll be away for three weeks at a sleepaway camp and there are no computers to utilize there, and even IF I did have a laptop I wouldn't be allowed to use it. The camp situation is complicated but it's for people who are part of the Center For Talented Youth (CTY), and I'm one of those people so I enrolled myself into one of their sleep-away camps at this campus in Pennsylvania. LOL It's great that you mentioned nails because I too do CRAZY designs on my nails. I've had polka dots of every color, stars, cow spots, french manicure, swirlies...and when people ask me where I get my nails done, I say, "Oh, I know this girl at Amanda's salon really well so she gives me free manicures and everything. You know, that place in Amanda's bedroom..." I haven't painted my nails in a few weeks because I received a certificate to get my nails professionally done at a real salon for my birthday and mom has been planning to take me but every chance we had to get them done kept getting screwed up. I plan on painting them before I leave for the CTY camp if I don't get them done before that, which probably won't happen because I've been busy with counseling and I have to pack my luggage. Do you watch "So You Think You Can Dance"? I love that show!

Rabbits are very cool, but I don't have a special thing for them. I don't think you're lame at all - I think you're awesome. I play the clarinet; I've been playing for four years now, almost five. I also teach myself how to play the piano, but I'm not that great. I can play "Love Like Winter" on the piano! :D "Miss Murder" is too difficult for me. I love to dance, and I take dance classes. I also love softball, volleyball, and walking! I know that's not a sport but it's fun nonetheless. I'm not very athletic. What about your athletic situation? Also, I'm curious: what do you look like? I'm blonde but turning brown and getting these platinum blonde highlights from the sun. It's weird, and people think I color treat my hair but I don't at all. I have blue-gray eyes, skin that's a bit pale and tans in the summer, and I consider my body weight to be "average". I also have long nails that I love painting. (But I don't have long toenails....)

I'm not too fond of Davey's haircut - personally I don't think it does anything for him. It seems a bit unflattering, but he still is amazing and handsome. XD Jade's haircut IS radical, but it didn't really change since Decemberunderground. I like it with the blonde in the front and everything. Now my memory is coming back - I do remember you mentioning your favorite CDs. That is SO freaking awesome that you can play "Silver And Cold"'s piano part. Two gold stars for you! I wish I had a buzznet. Last summer I went on it literally every day to view the pictures, and one day my dad saw the vulgar comments that some people made about the pictures and he thought that they were too inappropriate for me to be reading. (Yes, there are some bad comments, but it's not like I support pervs or anything.) So, he blocked the website so I can't go on it. :( I am joining the DF soon as well. I need to make a bit more money and I can join, because like you I must pay with my own money. My parents are slightly upset about it, but they're not too bad. My parents are growing to realize that I love AFI because of how they touch me and NOT just because my favorite cousins who introduced me to AFI love them too. I have one friend, my best friend Mel who loves AFI like I do and can talk about it for hours. Mel's brother Davey who's my brother's best friend likes AFI too, but he doesn't have that huge passion to talk about them for hours. My brother's the same way as Davey. Three of my friends like select songs by AFI and have nothing against them, but again won't sit and talk about a CD for more than like a half an hour. Of course, like I said before, my two cousins introduced me to AFI and we can certainly discuss AFI for a long time. Did you catch AFI on Live Earth?! Oh my God, they did such a good job! I'm so glad I didn't miss, and that I taped them! I never feel alone because I have my brother, Mel, and my cousins to talk to, so I'm fortunate, and NOW I have the AFI show and this site we're on right now. Remember that when you "feel alone" you can talk to me...ALL THE TIME! Don't you ever think about talking about the "little things" that AFI does is random or stupid because I do the same thing. I talk about their hair, clothes, little smiles or dance moves they do...EVERYTHING!!! Oh, and YAY for AFI T-shirt! Here we just recovered from constant rain and some thunderstorms but now the weather's beautiful. Today I started my first day in counselor training and it went very well. OMG are you part of the AFI show? I think I've talked to you on that site! My username is showmethefire,love. I can't believe you missed AFI when you went to CA!!! I would be upset. I live in New Jersey, about 10 minutes from the "Jersey Shore", if you're familiar with it. My brother is 12. I'm not part of the DF, but I will be very soon. I have to pay for it with my own money, so...and I've never been to an AFI concert. I was VERY close to, but my mom last minute decided against it. She was skeptical to begin with, but then she became a bit accepting of it...then that died. She won't allow me to go to any "rock" concert until I'm at least 16, and I probably will die and have never met or seen AFI, but I guess that's okay, because they gave me the gift of music. I somewhat agree with the kid thing - I don't like kids under the age of seven. They just irritate me. If you're on the AFI show, you may have seen my post about the Blaqk Audio site and that I was confused because I did register but that was it. I didn't receive anything or get any access into the site. It just stayed on that one page with the "If Only" video. Everyone else said they had that problem, but they thought the same thing you did: that you'll receive an email soon. Wait...OMG (again), Jade's not going to have his cool hair anymore? He's not going to have the short chunk of hair in the front and the rest longer in the back??? NOOOOOOOOOOOO I'm so upset now. I'm glad you had fun at your partaaaayyy. Yesterday was pretty fun...well, kind of. Yesterday was the first time (from what I can recall) that the fourth of July has been crappy - weather-wise. Usually it's warm and sunny, but instead it was damp and chilly, especially by the beach. (I can't remember whether or not I told you but every year I go to my beach club for the fourth of July and stay for fireworks.) I was fine in my sweatshirt and jeans, but I wore flip-flops so you can deduce that my feet were quite cold. I don't know why, or how, but I wasn't that bored. I didn't swim because both the pool and the ocean was cold, and my CD player is dead. My brother probably helped me survive. :) Him, and the playground they have at the beach club helped me. There were these insane little kids trying to kill the "big kids", including my brother and me. There was this one kid with beautiful blue eyes and he whipped people with his shirt. He did it once to me, and I let it slide. I just told him, "Do that one more time and you won't be happy. At all." I didn't sound threatening, but I gave him one of my infamous looks with my eyes and he stayed away from both my brother and me. But, in short, those kids were exciting. They were little menonites with no lives. lol My amazing cousin and her amazing best friend (who just happened to introduce me to AFI when I was nine) met up with us at the beach club later and we all watched fireworks. The fireworks were worth the wait, and our beach club had an "Oceanfest" - a craftshow where they sell trinkets and jewelry and various things. I bought two rings. Today, I'm not doing ANYTHING except coming up with a craft to present for my junior counseling for next week. See, I heard a few months ago that you could become a junior counselor (with pay) if you get interviewed and are liked by the camp staff. I, and my friend, "made it", and we chose to help out with the arts and crafts camp. We went to an orientation and everything and we have to present a craft project to use when you come and...counsel! I am going to present how to make your own...BIRDFEEDER. yay. Wow, I'm sorry. Did I mention that I LOVE to talk? I guess you could've figured that our for yourself. Sorry...:S Talk to you soon!

I really don't cry...ever. Instead I get extremely angry where I will just...oh my God, I'm just insane when I'm upset, but I don't cry. If AFI breaks up, though, I WILL CRY. Oh God...I don't want them to break up. I also agree with you about AFI's CD and Blaqk Audio - even though I LOVE Blaqk Audio, alternative/punk whatever rock AFI is is my favorite music and I think that's what they do best. :) I always like change with every CD, but at the same time have them stick to their music style. Favorite AFI CD? It's a great, CLOSE tie between Decemberunderground and Sing The Sorrow. They're both just so beautiful but so different that I can't even pick a favorite. They're of two different worlds and in my opinion you can't even compare them becuase they're so different...sorry if that didn't make sense. Some people understand, others don't. So how was your day? Anything good?

I know that Adam drinks - I've seen a few pictures. I don't mind responsible drinking, but I DO mind smoking and I hope he doesn't!!! I'd be so upset. I heard that he used to but he quit. I'll just stay positive and assume that he did stop. My mom heard about Blaqk Audio because I talk about it (and AFI) all the time, and she said,"Sounds like AFI is breaking up." I said, "What? Uh...no." "That's how many bands break up. There are two guys with an extra close relationship and different ideas that the other band members so they break up and do their own thing." "Nah, that's not happening." "Sounds like it to me." THEY BETTER NOT!

I'm glad you feel the same way I do! You want to laugh...a lot? My friend Mel was just up in her room, and her mom came upstairs and told her that AFI's straightedge image was all a joke because they got arrested for possession of drugs. I swear to God, when Mel called me up to tell me that, I couldn't stop laughing. I asked her, "Are you SURE, POSITIVE that your mom was being serious and honest?" She said, "Yes, she said she looked really carefully to make sure it was them." I said, "Yeah, right, and I'm going to jail for possession of cocaine, too." Can you believe that?! ~ Change of subject: Adam doesn't smoke, right? Neither does Hunter?

Hello! My name is Amanda. I absolutely love your pic. My favorite color is purple, too! I've loved AFI for only four years like you, but I think I'm as much as a fan as anyone who's loved AFI for twenty years because I love and respect AFI and I feel a...umm...I guess you could say "connection" with their music when I listen to it, and I think that seperates a true fan from a fan who likes the #1 single on the radio. So yes. I just wanted to say hi I guess. :)
