ok I'm no expert at giving tips...so please bare with me. I think you should start studying it, like source around to see which colleges are the cheapest around and then work part time at a graphics designing firms. With that you'll be learning from both sides. Also source around to different Graphic Designing firms and see if you can help them out with their Reception or Accounts. Thats how I started out, I sent my CV to different places for their Reception and now I'm helping in their designing. It helps me alot too. You should also speak to c2the7,shes on our list,shes on my friends list...she has her own Graphics Designing company.She should also be able to give you tips. Good luck

that's like a 2 1/2 hour drive just to stand in lines for about another 2 hours and drive back home for another 2 1/2 hours. that's TOO long. if i was like 20 minutes away then i would've went. i'll just wait another time to see pharrell.
