Wow, cool! I got to the upper east side the last night I was there and I loved it. It was so much quieter and nicer than the places I had been. I didn't get much time to look around though. We just walked on 2nd Ave from 77th up to 81st, I think. We ate at a place called Blockheads Burritos. They had great margaritas. I don't really know what the different neighborhoods are like in New York so it was kind of just trial and error for me, but I wish I had known about the upper east side so I could have spent more time there and found some cool little restaurants to eat at. I ended up walking around the Times Square and Midtown East areas late at night after my roommates went to bed, looking for places to eat, but all that was open were delis, and not even any good ones. I bought a pastrami sandwich at one and the guy just microwaved it. :( All the nice restaurants I found were closed too. Anyways, that's probably more than you ever wanted to know about my eating excursions in New York! Thanks for the info.

That's pretty much what I figured. I'm thinking Chris is only doing this tour for the exposure and everything. RockBand is pretty big so I'm sure he got a nice cheque for it haha... Just paying the bills... I'm thinkin the new album is gonna be a pretty big hit with radio play and all that so they need to get out there and play these big show's whether they want to or not.

Sure, I'll let ya know. It's today, actually. I've stayed up much too late and I'm afraid I'll sleep too late to get a place in line for meet and greet tickets. I'm not much of a club person, either. I mean, I like them. I guess you could say I wish I was a club person. It's just awkward sometimes for me because I'm not good at dancing and I don't listen to the music they play in clubs, and I'm practically deaf sometimes so it gets hard to carry on a conversation if by some small chance I am able to start one. Yeah...I don't know. I just know if I go out with my friends, they will probably want a club.

Well, good. Yes, please send me more ideas as they come to you. I don't really know what I will or won't be able to do. I'm going with some different kinds of people. Some plan to party at clubs all night, some plan to not go out at all. I'd like a decent mix. I might try to get standby tickets to SNL. I guess that's probably touristy, but whatever. I love SNL.

No i didn't really want to. Plus it would have been such a hassle to go when I didn't want to in the first place haha. I've seen D/C 3 times and they've all been D/C shows. This wasn't a D/C show. I HATE HATE HATE Panic and I'm more of a Guitar Hero kinda guy hahaha. I'll catch them when they tour for the new album.

No. I went from planning to go to all four Florida shows to only being able to make it to one for various reasons. And that show will be Saturday night. What about you, have you been yet?I'm really glad you sent me a message, because I see that you are from NY and I have a question for you. I am going to be in Manhattan next week for a conference. I don't have a lot of free time during the day so I am looking for some fun stuff to do at night. Are there any cool places to eat or drink, or just anything fun to do at night that you would recommend?

I haven't heard anything other than the few dates that have been released. The big question for me is whether these are the first few dates of a new tour, or if they are just playing around in prep for the new album. I used to say that we would hear something after the GB dates have passed, at the latest. But I could totally see them going back into the studio after using these upcoming dates to test new songs, and us not getting another tour until after it comes out. :(
