Posted by pillpoppr on Aug 11, 2006 5:30 PM (GMT-04:00)
where are you guys going? umm, yeah, of course i want to go big, but it'll probably never happen. i'm just happy to be playing music and if people happen to like it then that's just icing on the cake! :D

I hope she does too! hah. Tomorrow I have another photo gig type deal, with a guy I met from the coffee shop. He's an archaeologist who needs to get some shots for a website. so I'm helping him out. but yeah, man, this week was so great. and I keep getting free food from the coffee place and from my work. my belly is rather happy.
Posted by pillpoppr on Aug 10, 2006 10:54 PM (GMT-04:00)
thank ya, ma'am! :)
Posted by pillpoppr on Aug 10, 2006 7:01 PM (GMT-04:00)
it's all me. i used to have a drummer, but i decided to go "solo/acoustic" for my next cd. :) did you check out my songs?
Posted by dc11 on Aug 10, 2006 12:53 AM (GMT-04:00)
most, if not all of my clothes are vintage. right now I'm wearing a tunic dress from the 70's, and a cropped sweater from the 40's. I also collect old costume jewlery from the 20's-70's.. so I always have a ton of jewlery on. but yeah.. oh god.. vintage clothing is amazing. and today I met a lady (coffee shop owners wife) and she wants to arrange a small lot so my friends and I can look through it and pikc out all of the clothes we want. man.. this week has been amazing!
Posted by dc11 on Aug 9, 2006 6:05 AM (GMT-04:00)
oh I will/have been! for the past 2 days I've been spending my time at an out of town coffee shop, and I love it there! I'm going back tomorrow.. I originally went to the place so i could get away from my city/friends/i dont get cell phone reception there. and I ended up befriending the owner and a guy named eric! and today the owner (dave) saw that i was wearing a vintage dress, so he showed me the upstairs of the coffee house. upstairs is this amazing amount of vintage dresses and sweaters and clothes! oh god, I was in heaven, I picked out 8 items, bought them for 20 dollars.. all of the stuff was from the 1940's to the 1960's. I'm going back tomorrow so he can give me more clothes!

yes! junior year will be the hardest for me. all of my classes first trimester are advanced/honors courses. school is going to totally rule my life this year.
Posted by dc11 on Aug 8, 2006 3:49 PM (GMT-04:00)
I'm sure I was an annoying freshman as well. I did make a lot of older friends freshman year though, and I'm still friends with them. I randomly ran into my friend (whos now 21) at a park the other day, so that was nice. But yeah, sophomore year isnt bad, I had a rather easy sophomore year. I'll be a junior this year
Posted by Lyndon86 on Aug 8, 2006 9:15 AM (GMT-04:00)
hard to say who they sound like, theyre quite different, but occasionally i hear them sounding a bit like 'tilly and the wall' maybe? its quite a raw rock sound with female vocals. and its got a very fun feel to it
Posted by dc11 on Aug 8, 2006 4:11 AM (GMT-04:00)
well happy belated birthday! did you get to go shopping or anything like that? I registered for school today. and in about a week I'll be giving freshmen a tour around the school, are you going to be a sophomore? or a freshman?
Posted by dc11 on Aug 7, 2006 10:20 PM (GMT-04:00)
how have you been?
Posted by Lyndon86 on Aug 3, 2006 9:40 AM (GMT-04:00)
sorry i probably worded it badly. wat i mean by semester is half of a year. University splits the year into two semesters. so i just started the second semester for this year! do u ever hear about 'the grates' in america? theyre a pretty cool aussie band. p.s. i got front row seats for DC, its a seated show for some reason, but i think itll be good that way
Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Aug 3, 2006 1:41 AM (GMT-04:00)
i downloaded some cds that would literally cost at least $600. so uh. i hope the FBI isnt reading this.
Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Aug 2, 2006 7:12 AM (GMT-04:00)

Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Aug 1, 2006 6:16 PM (GMT-04:00)
next time i go to the ocean i plan on going swimming. make sure its a good beach. away from people. like, theres this city 20 minutes away from that really nice spot..and all these people go swimming there, it doesn't make sense. its like all rocks and junk..gross im going go try and learn italian!
Posted by Lyndon86 on Aug 1, 2006 9:13 AM (GMT-04:00)
hey i just found out dashboard is coming to perth! so excited hey its about bloody time tho! yea i do really like the song.. ill probably just download the real version myself. i started uni semester yesterday, are u on school holidays?
Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Aug 1, 2006 6:18 AM (GMT-04:00)
yeah i was just at the ocean for the first time in may. i went on a roadtrip to the northwest. it was really really cool till like..the last day in a half..by then i just wanted to get home. haha. the ocean was nice, but there was a lot of people around. and i was just in regular clothes.
Posted by dc11 on Aug 1, 2006 2:57 AM (GMT-04:00)
I start again on August 17th... bleh! I don't wanna go back! I have so much fun just spending hours and hours with friends, I do use up a lot of money in gas though! I'll be an upperclassman this year, so that will be nice. what grade will you be going into?
Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Jul 31, 2006 9:51 PM (GMT-04:00)

Posted by dc11 on Jul 31, 2006 4:48 PM (GMT-04:00)
if you go to the artwork forum, I posted it in there under "some new photos", so you can go check it out there if you wish! Anyway, hows it going? Is your school starting soon?
Posted by dc11 on Jul 31, 2006 4:37 AM (GMT-04:00)
I will soon. I only have a few on my computer, because I had to unload my memory card (1 gig worth of pictures.. thats about 300 pictures) and I unloaded them onto my friend's laptop, so, I just have to wait for him to burn me a cd. I do have one of the bouquet on my computer. <img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y140/x_jill/IMG_270846.jpg" >

thank you. Well, I'm glad you appreciate my work, hah! yesterday I took photos at a wedding, so yeah, that was rather exciting.
Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Jul 30, 2006 6:20 PM (GMT-04:00)
are those nice?
Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 30, 2006 3:23 PM (GMT-04:00)
yes, head banging is so much fun especially wen u have a bit of hair to fling around! me and my brother get into it at gyro shows.. all those bands are really good hey, both of those pure volume bands are quite emo sounding. is there a band version of that ever so sweet song? or was it just written to be acoustic? its really good hey
Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Jul 30, 2006 7:04 AM (GMT-04:00)
yeah, i have. my favorite beach is on lake superior..pretty private, tons of beach, and super soft sand. its beautiful there
Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Jul 29, 2006 3:24 AM (GMT-04:00)
i knoww. i hate minnesota lakes though..for being the land of 10,000 lakes, almost all of them suck.
Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 28, 2006 7:05 PM (GMT-04:00)
hey thanks for ur songs, i havent had a chance to listen to them yet, but i will soon! i just got back from the gyroscope show which went off as usual. i have a headache from headbanging.. haha its a good feeling. they even did two acoustic songs in the middle of their set, was amazing. u so have to see them someday, itd be good if they got bigger international success so they could tour america properly. i think theyve only played in texas..
Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Jul 28, 2006 2:04 AM (GMT-04:00)
i love it when its 90 degrees and higher for a long time, then a cold front moves in and its 70 degrees.. that is the perfect temperature
Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Jul 27, 2006 3:54 AM (GMT-04:00)
its even too hot in CT? i always thought ct was really mild
Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Jul 27, 2006 3:28 AM (GMT-04:00)

Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Jul 26, 2006 10:32 PM (GMT-04:00)

Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 25, 2006 6:08 AM (GMT-04:00)
yea i definitely like that kind of music hey. acoustic stuff is always good. if u want to email any just send it to fingaaa@hotmail.com. would be much appreciated. um.. my few days down south was really fun! me and my friends all love to take photos so we all had a digital camera with us and took lots of fun photos. Posted by sixeightshuffle on Jul 24, 2006 3:27 AM (GMT-04:00)

Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 17, 2006 9:25 AM (GMT-04:00)

Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 16, 2006 5:51 PM (GMT-04:00)
haha yea thatd be great hey.. go to america and see dashboard. i dont know i think he might come here on his dusk and summer tour, i hope so anyway. have u seen him like a few times? i wanted to see him so badly like 3 and a half years ago. so not fair. so how do u want me to send the songs? it should work by email, otherwise i dont know any other way, msn maybe
Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 15, 2006 4:22 AM (GMT-04:00)
so wats aim? is it like a myspace or something? i didnt even know there was an acoustic stolen.. i guess if u have limewire or something like that u could download warmth of the sand, thats where i got it. theres also this other DC song called 'i do', dont know where its from but its also amazing. i wish dashboard would come to perth, have u seen him live before?
Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 14, 2006 11:40 AM (GMT-04:00)
oh thats awesome u like them! i love the way he sings with an aussie accent, i guess thats part of wat makes them different. theyre are pretty close to being my favourite band.. but u cant beat incubus.. anyway spread the gyro love! yea im pretty good, i just painted my bedroom wall brown
Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 14, 2006 3:28 AM (GMT-04:00)
well i dont know them personally but ive met them a few times and ive been to about 20 of their shows. wat do u think of their music? if u love it u should tell all ur american friends about it! perhaps not the most original sound, but still kind of different. theyre so awesome to see live too.. i can email warmth of the sand to u if u want?
Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 11, 2006 4:24 PM (GMT-04:00)
oh ok then, well u should hear it, coz its great. u should also listen to a band called gyroscope, their from perth and they are fantastic
Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 10, 2006 12:19 PM (GMT-04:00)
