Hey Jill, how are you doing? Been awhile since we touched base and caught up. I got a new Canon Digital Rebel... though I miss film, a lot. Hope you are doing well and still being as Jilltastic as possible.

its called "mirror mirror" by mark pendergrast. its pretty good. if you're into that sort of thing. and what!!!!! you forget to eat? lol. youre crazy. but i agree, food is glorious. i love it and i eat all day. but i cant gain a pound. and im dying to gain a pound or 15lbs, or 30lbs. i'll take any of the above. lol. so what are you eating? i just ate chineese food. i would tell you what kind it was, but i dont think i can. haha.
Posted by human.being on Nov 30, 2006 2:59 AM (GMT-04:00)
lol@you. well, welcome back to the world wide web. lol. i love reading. im reading this book called "mirrors" right now. its kinda boring but not really. i dont know, its odd. its just about the first time a man seen his reflection in a body of water/or puddle? lol. but yea, it talks about how mirrors have adapted from water to actual mirrors hanging on walls and peoples fascination with them. sooooo jill, did you enjoy your 3 day www vacation? hope so. i need to get rid of my computer so i can be more constructive with my time. but i dont see it happening anytime soon. lol. hope all is well with you. =]

your pictures always just seem to come out nicely. wether its of you or anything else. you truly are gifted at it. and lol@your job. that place sounds... um... like a mess. haha. if you go to find another job, and do find one, you should bring a trash bag to your last day at work at your current job and finish off those forks. no doubt. haha. and i feel bad for you now. that job does sound horrible. especially since you're not fond of hicks or children. lol. i'd swap you but my job sucks too. i sell flooring. boo. its boring and dull. but it pays for my schooling. so i have to stick it out for now.
Posted by human.being on Nov 27, 2006 2:25 AM (GMT-04:00)
yea, i would love to have been like 16'ish around '75. that would have been nice. too late for that though. days that consist of nothing but relaxing are simply the best. and easiest to pull off. i hope you didnt have to work today. lol. you might get the boot. and be jobless. sure hope not. and nice pics in the "say cheese" thread. yep. hope your week is stellar too. mine will just be work filled.

hi jill *waves* haha. your steak n shake night sounds scary. lol. no doubt. i would have threw something at them and then thought oh crap, why did i do that. i act on instinct and it never turns out well. but atleast you all made it out alive. that would suck to die at a steak n shake. whew. and malls are lame. especially mall rats. the people who pretty much live there. and think its cool to hang around there all day. i couldnt do that. but i wish people i knew wanted gifts that were nonmall related. but im with you on wearing the old gear. i usually go to thrift stores for shirts and things. try to find the old ones that you cant get in stores. theres this one place called "retro" and they have all these 60s and 70s styles. i love that place but they're proud of their merch. but i pay the price when they have something i cant live without. and i have to wear jeans. if i walk around in a dress i might get my nuts kicked in. haha. but i love my jeans. they're comfortable. but i will not buy jeans from a thrift store. thats just odd. wearing some other mans pants. not cool. in my book anyways. but the shirts, and old sport coats. i love it. and its super cheap. and the clothes are already broken in of course. i even found this pair of shoes once, they had about 8 pairs of the same shoe. brand new, still had the box. i think they were from mexico. didnt even have a brand name. just a shoe with two velcro straps and a bowling shoe style. i bought four pairs for 10dollars. haha. i love those shoes. they're white/gray/and blue. you'd have to see them. because that prolly sounds strange. oh well. and i was here saturday night. lol. pretty cool huh? ugh. i know. lame. but i have no life. hows your day going? good i hope. ttyl

haha. yeah. I've never liked beef, I don't know why, even as a child I hated hamburgers. and steak.. ick. I actually just got home, my best friend and I went shopping today. tomorrow she has to go back to college.. sigh.. having best friends away at college while you're still in high school really sucks. I cannot relate to people that are my age, its odd. oh well, today was a nice day. and in about an hour I'm leaving to go to a show thats in my friends basement, it should be fun. how was your weekend? anyway, take care. shopping is something else around this time. i went today and it wasnt so bad. but yesterday on my way home the mall was still packed to the street. and it was like 10pm. its usually closed and empty at that time. crazy folks. haha. but yea, deals, gotta get the deals. even though i didnt. haha. and i was the same way in highschool. i would talk to everyone and every cliche group. from bandnerds to jocks to stoners to basketcases. haha. but i never really had a set group of friends in school because that set of friends was out of high school and doing college, work, or in the army. so i know what you mean. kinda sucks but it helped me because i moved so much anyways i was use to adapting well to different people. i think i just like people in general. everyone is so different. its nice. and a basement concert. those are the best. dont have them here in texas though. no basements. haha. but i remember up in omaha we use to go to a lot of those. good times. i hope you have a blast. ttyl

im good at being unproductive. i dont care much for it but i am good at it. so sometimes i just roll with it. glad to hear your holiday was good though. so did you enjoy the turkey? or are you kicking yourself for going back to meat? i dont know how that works, i've always liked the meat products. hamburgers are too good to pass up. prolly the most unhealthy thing i could possibly eat, but yea. so im unproductive and i eat meat. i need to slow down. haha. lifes gonna get me in the near future and say "haha, sucker" or something rude like that. but i hope not. i just forgot what i was ranting on about. but thats prolly best. haha. so, yes, how are things?

yea, i totally know what you mean. most of my friends are already married and have kids. usually around mid 30's to early 40's, and im just this new to the 20's guy. lol. but i do have a few of frieds that are younger than me, but are more mature than most kids their age. but i think i need to start finding some my age because i'll want to go out and do something with some friends, but yea... they have a family to watch over and spend time with. stupid older people and their family. pfft. lol. and a B+ was your lowest grade!!! holy moly. i think a C+ was my highest grade haha. so you are just good at everything you do huh? lucky mo' fo'. and i hope you stay on that super awesome good streak in school. you'll go far, no doubt. and my day was blah. i slept until like 2pm, and then hooked up with some family that lives kinda near by and ate that huge thanksgiving feast. but, that stuff in the turkey made me fall asleep again, over there. so i've slept way past my sleeping limit i think. haha. but it is a holiday, so why not. so not productive at all today. im going to have to catch up on my productive'ness next week. so how was your thanksgiving stuff? mmm mmm good i hope. ttyl.
Posted by human.being on Nov 23, 2006 4:02 AM (GMT-04:00)
yea, jahova was a cool guy. he was the only other person on this site that liked akira.k movies i think, well the only one i found and actually could talk about some of the movies with. lol. kinda dorkish but yea... sucks he left. why did he? new look to things around here maybe? or just got sick of this place? hmm. lol. i feel like sherlock holmes. and i agree about the art/poetry board should be divided like old times. it was more fit. because now if i want to look at photography, i have to skip through poetry and vice versa when im wanting to read someones work. its a mess. but i noticed they have taken some of the boards off, all together, aswell. they use to have a help section too, if im thinking right. and i think theres another one im forgetting. i dont know. i miss it. lol. even the main page is gone. thats what gets me the most. on the older version of the site it use to show actual parts of the last commented threads. and it showed the "leader board" (that thing use to crack me up because everyone wanted to move up and it was just funny the little battle types all the super old regs had) i dont know. even showed new members on the homepage.lol. but yes, i miss it. moving on... haha. new photos!! good deal. i will be looking for them. and i cant wait. photography is the best. wish i had talent in that area. boo. but i can draw, thats not so bad. just takes longer, but gives me that accomplished feeling when im done. i like it. and woa. i never could understand that in high school. i remember a lot of kids use to take the college level courses and do well, and even maintain good grades in their high school work too. its just amazing. takes real focus. i was lucky to graduate highschool period. haha. but yea. my ADD played a part in that. but i did make it. go me. and grilled cheese are the business. my favorite. so simple too. and i know exactly what you mean about losing your appetite due to watching people eat all day. i use to wait tables at Daltons Restuarant in Gonzales, Louisiana. and yea. lol. if it wasnt for the super fresh, straight off the coast, amazing sea food i probably would have lost weight. instead, i use to wait right up until closing and tell Davis the cook to make me something up, then eat while we were closed. its odd. but thats what i did. lol. soooo how was your day? ...is your day? ttyl
Posted by human.being on Nov 22, 2006 4:14 AM (GMT-04:00)
hey hey jill =] i didnt talk to a lot of people actually. i just posted in the poetry/art section. and i would talk to some people in that board and jahova every once in a while. but he was always usually busy. i mean he is jahova and was the coolest son of a bitch. lol. and the whole thing with my name messing up threads really sucked. i felt so bad. but it was unfixable. i tried everything and even sent tons of messages to that old guy that was on the old boards. the one who was the go to guy. i forget his name. and im soooo stoked to hear you have plans for photos this weekend. can i get a hint to as what they will be? lol. kidding. i prefer the suprise and seeing it with fresh eyes. not expecting it and what not. but i cant wait to see those when you get 'em up. things here are good. just working and studying. it wears me out mentally sometimes but in a good way. the work keeps me sane because it lets me know that nothing comes on a silver plate. and the studying is great because i love to learn. but too much can drive someone crazy at times. but im good. i just ate some grilled cheese so i have the biggest smile on my face lol.

Yeah, I like most folk singers. And if anyone can listen to someone for a year and a half, then there must be something to them. Can I get like a top 5 songs to start off with? personally, i just settle with sounds good. i've ended up on calling the majority of what i listen to alternative pop. i could call it indie, but i don't feel like my taste is unique enough to warrant that. besides, i don't want people getting the idea that i just listen to music because it's what i should listen to. aside from man man and a few other bands, i don't care much about the philly music scene at all. i call what i listen to alternative pop because it's mostly the "alternative mainstream," but it still sounds good to me. now, please agree with me in that there's an alternative mainstream. i can never think of what to put as a title, so i'm just gonna go with song titles.
Posted by chriszak on Nov 2, 2006 8:29 PM (GMT-04:00)
hey, i saw your post in the interesting song titles thread, and i would guess that you have yourself pretty entrenched in the indie music genre. there's always so much to be caught up on. i had a friend who told me about man man the other week, since they're from philly. ha, they're pretty wierd. anyway, i gathered that you love the indie from your webpage. and yet again, there's that guy i've been meaning to get into: Devendra Banhart...listed on your music page. he seems to be a pretty hip name these days; you know, as indie bands get thrown around, some stick around, and others are filler. i haven't been able to listen to him yet. what's he like?

ya i love canon, thats what my family has always used. cameras these days upgrade so fast that the resail value goes down so quickly. i was planning on getting the digital rebel XT or the digital rebel XTi or just the 20D since the 30D just came out.
Posted by ihartcupcakess on Sep 10, 2006 11:15 PM (GMT-04:00)
for digital i just use a little fujifilm finepix s5100 and i have an array of lenses for it. but i still use my 35mm SLR which is actually a rebel. but i just saw the new digital rebel XTi, so i may look into that. but the 20D and the XT will def work for me, but this camera store by me has some good deals. so i'll look into those.

Thank youu. and i was at the beach with some friends for my birthday, but when i got home the parents gave me some money. But freshman are annoying so i am sorry you have to show one around, i'm going to be a sophomore. and yes, even though i was a freshman just three months ago, i know we're annoying :]

i was turing a corner, and someone ran the stop sign and hit me...if i wasnt such an excellente' driver, i would have been really hurt, but i saw it coming, so i turned the car really fast, so the other car would hit my back door instead of mine. >.< im so good...(high five to self)

my freshman year, at state volleyball, a bunch of us ate taco bell for breakfast, and we made rachel laugh, and she threw up all over her tray. she ended up throwing the whole tray away. it was hilarious. so far, thats one of my favorite hs memories! only got one year left...ill see if something can beat it!

Posted by Virgothepoet on Jul 31, 2006 5:10 PM (GMT-04:00)
yeah well i love having red hair, but its the worst when it comes to fading. but this stuff really works. like i said its pricey, but when you add up how much it costs to constantly dye your hair, it saves money, bc a bottle of halo lasts me about 3 months. and i get my hair dyed at a salon, so thats like 50 bucks every month and a half. so 30 bucks every 3 months...much better. lol
Posted by ghostofgood on Jul 31, 2006 3:39 PM (GMT-04:00)
ohh i went to the link, but it didnt work. i'll just see them when you put a few on deviant?

thanks i love my hair colour too. its all thanksto my shampoo and conditioner. its called Halo, and its the best shit you can buy and i havent dyed my hair red in 3 months and its still red. lol. its amazing. 16 bucks a bottle though. lol. well worth it in my opinion

Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 28, 2006 6:59 PM (GMT-04:00)
good idea! best purchase ull ever make ;). i just went to the best show hey, that band gyroscope i think i told u about, they play such crazy shows. their older songs are such good songs for headbanging and moshing.. i have a headache. me and my brother always go nuts even though weve seen them about 20 times. the singer always comes and leans back on the crowd with his guitar in the air.. so cool
Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 28, 2006 6:40 PM (GMT-04:00)
i own the dvds.. its great coz even after me and my brother have watched it about 10 times theres still things u pick up on that u didnt before. all the humour is so subtle, i love it. i think the british version has a lot more depth to it than the american version. yea?
Posted by Virgothepoet on Jul 28, 2006 3:40 PM (GMT-04:00)
and hello hello to you too. lol
Posted by Ike_Dv2.0 on Jul 28, 2006 2:49 AM (GMT-04:00)

I am addicted to dA, I can't help it... I need a fix! I need a fresh vein! Right now, for the first time, I am on dc and dA... wacky. Look forward to your nature pics.

awww nice new avatar here. It's purdy. What's up! I haven't been on AIM in awhile, i blame the constant ping pong playing on my part... and my very cool photography of snails... its cool, trust me. Take care Jill, for now on i am going to get my film developed and put on a disk so i can post it without ruining the quality. Oh yeah, the emotes don't work here hahaha. Take care. Wuv, -mike

We were friends on the old board. What's new with you?
Posted by ahollowvoice on Jul 17, 2006 5:01 PM (GMT-04:00)
haha. I feel better already. :) Folks like the Dregs, not fanatical, but some like them. If i stopped posting them I wouldnt hear any complaints. So that means they don't have the appeal I wish they could have. Sigh. woe is me. I shall color in my next Dregs with crayons just to show you that old-fashioned is still cool. haha. i wanna digicam. and i wanna jill. sigh.
Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 17, 2006 9:22 AM (GMT-04:00)
i understand how u feel about the new music, but the way i see it is like, the old stuff is still there, and ull always be able to listen to that which is fantastic. but if he kept making the same album, im pretty sure u wouldnt like that. so the new stuff is him exploring a bit, plus it still very much has his signature sound in it. but i guess if u dont like it then u dont like it and u cant help that. but change should be seen as a good thing. im guessing also u probably get a bit overwhelmed with DC in the states, its not like that here, hes big, but not that big.
Posted by ahollowvoice on Jul 16, 2006 4:12 PM (GMT-04:00)
you cheered me up jill. but still. I have grown to think my existence is pathetic. And all of that depression crap. sigh.
Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 16, 2006 5:35 AM (GMT-04:00)
so if ur not a super big fan of dashboard howcome ur all over the website? is it just for the community now? i guess id have to say that i liked him more a few years ago, but im still really into him now. Dusk and Summer definitely tops A Mark, A Mission..., I really like it. even if it is a bit poppy, its still great music and its still filled with emotion.
Posted by ahollowvoice on Jul 15, 2006 7:14 PM (GMT-04:00)
If you ever meet me in real life, do me the pleasure of shooting me for my pathetic life.
Posted by Lyndon86 on Jul 15, 2006 4:29 AM (GMT-04:00)
so im guessing uve probably seen dashboard live before? im very unlucky to live in perth as a lot of bands bypass our fine city and only visit the eastern states of aus. so how was ur holiday anyway? its summer over there right?.. warm and sunny? tell me ur one ultimate favourite band ever.. everyone has one
Posted by ahollowvoice on Jul 13, 2006 10:32 AM (GMT-04:00)
Have fun with the friends, I hope none of them is named Carol... sigh... i despise Carol. haha. Random, hoping to make you laugh... its hard work. I seem to have found some friends at dA so that is lovely. Take care, glad you are back home safe and sound.
Posted by ahollowvoice on Jul 12, 2006 11:49 PM (GMT-04:00)
Awww Mike and Ike haha. Jill, I am here all summer, till late August, unless i figure out how the hell to tunnel out of here without popping up in China. I miss my house, 'tis lovely, it has a roof, and four walls. and flowers. But yeah... me here for a long time.
Posted by ahollowvoice on Jul 11, 2006 12:42 PM (GMT-04:00)
yeah... i am abusing dA and not coming here that often. Bar? did i make a joke about a bar... Ike is having a hoot at dA, i think he found his inner Ike... scary thought. He keeps calling me Mike though, but... he's ike, so thats okay. Stole your sister's laptop? Sneaky sneaky... I stole... my PC. no i didnt, i need to commit a crime or two before i die. maybe a big one, wait and see... happy vacation Jill
