Man, it's been such a long time since I last talked to you...
Lots of random things to mention,
My family is in the MMA business :P
My brother recently started his own promotion and we hosted the first ever MMA event in Ontario called "Evolution"...It's called the FSC which stands for Fight Sport Championship and in the debut show, my brother paid Anderson Silva to come down for the weekend and he did all sorts of promotional work, autograph sessions, media as well as corner one of the guys in the Main Event as his protege, Andre Gavao fought in the Main Event...really stand up dude...umm..also, to announce the formation of the FSC, we rented out this club to host UFC 89 and Chuck Liddell was brought in to sign autographs because the club really wanted a huge name to appear, which was sweet because it kinda puts you on the map as being taken serious and know that this is pretty legit... I was at the UFC 94 Press Conference to promote the George St. Pierre VS BJ Penn fight at the end of the month...got to meet both of them too, and Dana White was there just hamming it up with everyone...I'm President of the Full Contact Fight Club in my school and helped bring in Matt Serra to appear and sign autographs at both college campuses...I got to introduce him and everything, - he's honestly one of the nicest guys I've ever met in life..period...such an awesome dude. I went to an MMA seminar with Royce Gracie so I got to meet him as well...Rich Franklin hosted a Boston Pizza UFC PPV party about 2 hours away from me, so I went to check it out and got to meet him too...and finally at UFC 92 in a Dave and Busters location, Roger Huerta hosted a party there and he signed my 'Fighter' photography book...yeah, it's been a pretty exciting couple of months, the next MMA show that my bro is looking to run is in April... if you want see pics and stuff go to: www.thefsc.ca

for what it was, i really liked the philly show. i thought chris sounded great, despite being sick. i loved the full band, it's been so long since i've seen them all play together. our seats were right next to the stage, so we had a good view. we stuck around for a bit afterwards, i don't blame you leaving, i would have been shot after that long too. eventually mike and scott came around, but by that time there were like 25 teens waiting for panic, so we only talked to them for a few minutes. the panic people are so strange... they knew the name of every person associated with panic, from the bus driver, equipment guy, security guard, etc. and screamed for each of them by name. so you didn't miss much at all there! but yeah, i can't wait for the next tour- warmer weather, smaller venues, cheaper, and hopefully a lot more shows around here!

yeah, i figure i'd get a seat because i'm gonna need a drink or two to get me through the other bands! and yeah, i also hope that panic goes on last, so we don't have to suffer too long. i can't imagine sharing the floor space with a bunch of teens screaming over hey there delilah or nine in the afternoon.

but yeah, i have a really busy october, which also includes a giants game on the 19th, so i'm looking forward to it!

UFC 85 Tonight...

Man, was it just me or did UFC 84: ill Will with Penn VS Sherk happen like last week..lol..they've been pumping out these PPV's like crazy it seems, but I can't complain, Saturday night plans are always filled.

There are so many concerts happening tonight:
Death Cab for Cutie/Stars, City and Colour, and Adam Richman are all having different shows throughout Toronto.

I'm thinking of watching the PPV in the afternoon since it'll leave the night for free, and since it's in England because of the timezone difference.

I think Matt Hughes goes over Thiago Alves tonight, but I don't know where that really leaves him since I don't see him getting a shot at GSP for a 4th fight..not at all...we still need to get Hughes VS Serra...that in itself can headline a PPV alone without any title whatsoever.

I'm also looking forward to the Marcus Davis VS Mike Swick fight, that's gonna be real intense and Davis has had amazing performances everytime he fights in England...

Fabricio Werdum VS Brandon Vera is the other fight I'm looking forward too, and I really hope Vera knocks Werdum out because I think he's the closest guy that can beat Noguiera for the Heavyweight Title based on skill alone...

Noguiera and Frank Mir are the new coaches for next year's Ultimate Fighter season...don't know how that will translate well on TV, but either way I don't see Mir getting the heavyweight title.

Anyway's haven't talked in awhile with you, just wanted to randomly rant about the happenings of today :P

Life has been treating me good..thanks for asking even it's been atleast a good month..lol..I haven't listened to John Ralston in awhile, probably because he hasn't even come remotely close to where I live...not even a Buffalo date..sucks about that but oh..well...

Have you ever listened to Jonah Matranga?...I loved his stuff in One Line Drawing, and I'm going to make it a point to get into his solo stuff now since it's more acoustic based, and he's coming to Toronto at the end of May..so I should make it a point to see him.

The last couple of shows I went to were Raine Maida (lead singer of Our Lady Peace) play a solo set, Owen came a couple of days too...really awesome show, even though there were some annoying drunk jerkoffs..he kinda talked them down nicely..heh..and yeah for the little kiddie concerts, I hit up The Rocket Summer and All Time Low..lol..I love their music, I can't lie..regardless of how many 16 year old girls were there.
I went to see Nada Surf last night too...so yeah, I guess I'm keeping myself busy..heh..but the next little while isn't anything special...I'm thinking of going to see Saves the Day out in Detroit, don't know how that will pan out though, we'll see...

Anyway's UFC talk...GSP or Matt Serra?
Did you happen to catch Ultimate Fight Night last week? That was a pretty solid show for like 3 hours of free TV..heh..Kenny Florian seems to be the go to guy for that program since it seems as if he's always headlining them. He's a guy that's exciting enough to watch, but doesn't exactly have star power to him and he already got whooped by Sean Sherk, and BJ Penn would eat him for dinner.

Anderson Silva rules the world...that is all :)

YES!!! Tim Sylvia fell to the masterful Jiu-Jit-Su/Subbmission Technique of Antonio Noguiera...he literally picked him apart in the 3rd round, seriously, went for the leg, got the sweep, passed his half guard, positioned himself for a guiotine choke...Tim gasping for air, tapping out like a bitch and Noguiera getting the Interim Heavyweight Title. Dana's making a spectacle of himself by thinking that Randy Couture is going to have one more fight to see who the 'Real' Heavyweight Champion of the world is. Honestly, he can scream and shout as loud as he wants, but Randy doesn't need to fight ever again to still prove he's the greatest MMA fighter of all time. Congrats to Minotoro though, couldn't see anyone else deserve it more then him. So yeah, Lesnar VS Mir was the total opposite of what I expected, and seeing Mir catch him in that knee bar after Lesnar was foolish not to protect himself after pounding him down when he went for the takedown the second time was his fault. The Vegas odds had Mir as the odds on favourite, and I'm sure those bets were sweating after 30 seconds into the first round. Lesnar pummeled him, but Mir took it like a man...honestly, I'm surprised he didn't pass out, because I seriously thought the ref was going to step in. It seemed like he was gonna go out any second if it wasn't for that ref stoppage...to deduct the point off for the rabbit punch in the back of Mir's head. Lesnar showed promise, although at this point, he's far from a Main Event fighter for the time being...I would personally love to see a Brock Lesnar VS Chieck Kongo fight, but we'll see how he does against Crazy Horse Heath Herring next month :). Nate Marquart defeating Jeremy Horn surprised me, and it was a huge win too, and to me it was the definite fight of the night in my opinion. Can't wait for Friday to come as I need UFC Tickets to Montreal :D.

I understand about the bills thing. but, ya know, you dont have to have the dream job to be happy. it just depends on how you spend the rest of your life. i myself want to be a photographer. ever since i was five i have been taking pictures of people, landscapes and musical instruments that are actually pretty good for a five year old. of course, over time my pictures have improved, so i want to see if i can keep it up. i figured i should probably start with something small though so i can work myself up to my goal. my mom works at an awesome jewelry store that pays pretty good money. my moms boss is already asking me if i am sixteen yet, so i can work for her, so i figured i might have a pretty good chance of working there in a couple years, and i figured while i am there i can do some photography on the side. but, ya know if that all blows over, there is a coffee shop across the street. its a pretty goood starter job, you get pretty good money in just tips alone. well, i guess i have to go, i hope you enjoy my life ambition story. bye bye for now.

Wow..talk about the night of upsets...Kendall Grove gets knocked out in the first round by Jorge Rivera and from that point on, it was the night of knockouts. When the 3 scheduled undercard fights happened, all were finished by the first round and they still had another 2 hours to go left on the show..man, I can't believe they squeezed like 8 fights during the PPV Show. Gonzaga looked like he had Werdum knocked down when he showed his dominant striking ability with his sidekicks, Werdum still kept his composure which was surprising because he was just getting embarassed after being knocked down. It looked like Gonzaga just wanted to knock him out because he gave him several chances to get up since he knew he probably couldn't submit him on the ground and just relied on striking. As for BJ Penn VS Joe Stevenson, it was like watching a Ju-Jit-Siu Teacher sparring with a 18 year old student on his 3rd day of wearing his black belt..lol..man, BJ Penn tore into him huge in the first round, and I had to hand it to Stevenson because he took a beating like a trooper, and came out in the 2nd round looking to stand and box, even though there was blood completely drowning him after that elbow on his forehead. It was sad to see him cry afterwards, after getting his ass handed to him and working so hard but man, BJ Penn was a monster...although what happened afterwards completely killed whatever momentum that was going on in a feud with Sean Sherk. BJ Penn flat out said Sean, "Your Dead"...Sherk came out went face to face, Penn wanted to leave but then shook his hand then left..THAT'S NOT HOW YOU BUILD A FEUD!!!..He should have gotten right back at his face, just go nose to nose, and then walk away or atleast scream back at Sherk because man..they could have had a new blood feud at 155 lbs. That's what MMA needs to be, especially in the eyes of Americans. In Japan, it's more about sportsmanship, but blood feuds always sell tickets. BJ Penn could have capitalized on that moment, instead there's not going to be as much fanfare as there should have been for his next title defence against Sean Sherk... yeah, i guess i really am 13, although i have been mistaken for much older many times. but, you know, i am just trying to enjoy my youth even though it kinda sucks for most people. i already have responsibilities like you could never believe and and thoughts that most people at my age dont even worry about, so in a way i guess i could be 26... you know... if i really wanted to. but anyway, when im 26 and have a sucky job and a horrible life, i guess i would want to be 13 again, so either way, i'll learn to like it. so, what do you do for a living?

So I read on MMAJunkie that UFC 84 is indeed confirmed to be in Montreal in April with George St. Pierre VS Matt Serra... That place is going to erupt, I'm gonna set aside a couple of hundred for a really good seat because this is a show I just can't miss out on... I'd like to see Chuck VS Forrest as well, but we all know that these are two of Dana White's pet projects so I think he is going to do what he can to try and get Forrest his title shot before he fumbles it by losing to Quinton Jackson. I think Chuck VS Rampage III would be huge $$$ but they cannot hold out until December for some supershow so I'm thinking maybe around the fall that it's gonna happen. What do you think of UFC 80? I'm really hoping for a Joe Stevenson Title win because BJ Penn would get gassed out so fast, and he really wouldn't go all 5 rounds with him, regardless of experience. As far as shows I'm going too, in Toronto, there's Bayside/Straylight Run, as well as Thrice's first ever headlining tour in Canada with Say Anything...and I'm only really going to hear Max own the audience, because you know he can! :). I'm also going to see Owen, don't know if you listen to Mike Kinsella's work now, or if he was in American Football, but he's an amazing acoustic artist. In Buffalo, I would really like to see All Time Low play this skatepark next week, and there's a band that I've really gotten into over the last 8 months called The Morning Of, and their playing Club Infinity later on this month. Jack's Mannequin in Rochester is going to be AMAZING...gonna go to do that for sure. Oh, and tonight, I'm gonna go see Strung Out and Lagwagon play this newly built skatepark out here in Toronto, The Docks used to be this huge venue for big bands to come, but a new owner came in and renamed it 'The Sound Academy' and it's a skatepark/venue so I'm gonna go check this spot out. Bamboozle is just a couple of months away..and man, I'm really really curious to see The Movielife's reunion set with Vinny singing lead vocals with Set Your Goals as the backup band. Speaking of which, if your only interested in seeing Saves the Day so far, I read that there's a 16 date tour spot where they headline the 'Bamboozle Road Show' with Set Your Goals opening...I wouldn't be surprised if there were some dates around the NY/NJ area beforehand. Chuck Liddell is a beast! Wandelai Silva's face looked like hamburger meat..honest to god, he took some brutal hay-maker shots and after that takedown by Chuck to Silva at the beginning of Round 3, I never jumped out of my seat like that..I literally spilled ice tea all over the table in the restaurant I was watching this in, and I was just ecstatic the whole night. Every fight was good except for Eddie Sanchez's snoozer...but man, I think Melvin Guillard might get a posse to kill Rich Clementi after he gave him that crotch chop after making him tap out. He got what was coming though... I lost $20 because I thought Matt Hughes was gonna outwrestle him, that was a mistake, but I could care less, it was such a wicked show and GSP came across as the better man. He's a warrior, and even though he flopped hard as champion, I think he's going to give Serra the toughest fight of his life in April... I'm hoping for a Montreal date at the Bell Centre if that's the case...That'll be the weekend roadtrip of a lifetime :)

Hey, I would have loved to go check out some of the final East Coast shows during the last week of the Dashboard acoustic tour, but I couldn't find any tickets to the New York City shows... Heh..I like the picture since there were so many other people who has a pic of Chris Carrabba all bundled up like a penguin...I figured I'd just join the club :) It kinda sucked that I can't go, because I always have fond memories of seeing them play in probably the most favourite city in the world that I love to visit. It's alright, I guess..there's lots of concerts happening in the month of November around here and tonight, I'm seeing The Academy Is/The Rocket Summer/Sherwood...I posted something about Armor for Sleep not playing tonight due to an accident on the road that occured which caused all their equipment to be damaged..that was a shame because I actually like the new CD and was looking forward to hearing some of the tracks live. NEVER EVVVVEEERR bet against Anderson Silva. I won $20 betting a good friend of mine, I dont know how in his right mind he would take Rich Franklin..since in their 2nd fight, it clearly showed two fighters where one just got completely outclassed by the other. It was like watching two different skill levels and Silva's skill level was just untouchable. I'm not really liking the upcoming UFC PPV show...I don't buy Rashad Evans VS Michael Bisping as a credible Main Event, but since their entering a new market, it'll definitely be a huge gate for them. I'm looking forward to Houston Alexander's rise as he continues to mow over everyone. I'm not looking forward to this like crazy, but I'll still go out of my way to watch it...UFC PPV nights are where it's at :) So what are your picks for next weekend's fight card? Are you planning on being there live? I'd consider it if I was you, only because your so close to it..and even if you just get a bleacher ticket, I think that would just be an awesome atmosphere to be apart of. Later, "AC"

Middleweight Title Fight: Anderson Silva VS Rich Franklin II Who do you have? I really hope Brandon Vera kicks Tim Sylvia's head off..because this is the year 'The Truth' gets his Heavyweight Title... Man, such a tough break for Dana White to lose Randy Couture...he should have swallowed his pride and drop $2 Million just to make him stay. At 44 years old, and the most marketable and recognizable figher that you have, he knew he deserved more then what he was getting...too bad they couldn't close the Fedor deal...Randy VS Fedor will happen next year..guaranteed.

Sounds like an awesome show. I've noticed that Chris is throwing at least one fairly rare track into most of the shows, and I think it's sweet. My buddy told me that we've heard Age Six Racer live before, but it must have been back in '02 because I certainly can't remember that last time I heard that one. That's bad as hell. I am so excited for the next show. My next one is in November, too, and I am actually starting to get really excited. The show to tide me over is going to be Brand New/Thrice. I think at UFC 74, GSP really needed to prove himself because he flopped as champ so bad...He should not be losing to a guy like Matt Serra of all people..because if Koschek was able to get pass him, I think he would have been done as a Main Event caliber athlete in UFC. The UFC has it's share of politics, I'll admit, when they want to push someone they'll do what they can to give them every chance they can at the spotlight, that's why I think Keith Jardine is headlining a PPV with Chuck Liddell...I mean Jardine got his ass handed to him at UFC 72 by Houston Alexander..just got manhandled, but this is pretty much the warmup PPV for Chuck since I see him fighting Vanderlai Silva for the big UFC end of the year show in December...You know UFC 75 on Spike TV was the highest rated show in the history of the company...they did like a 3.1 Neilsen Rating on Saturday night and by the end of it, more people watched that show then any other PPV/Supercard ever...they beat Tito Ortiz VS Ken Shamrock III at the Fight Night in Florida. I'm excited about the acoustic tour, my first show of the tour is in 2 days..hah..I'm driving out to Michigan from Toronto on Friday afternoon...it's going to be amazing... Everything is good with me, I really wish I was able to visit NYC soon though, I heard all the NYC D/C solo acoustic shows have sold out...it kinda sucks, but I still have Rochester MI, and Toronto in November...I would have really loved to go to Webster Hall, something about seeing a concert in NYC of all places gets me amped up even more.

Big fight card this past weekend..I'm glad I didn't bet because man, I probably would have lost the clothes off my back that night. I knew Rampage was gonna take Dan Henderson but there were times during that fight where I thought Henderson could have had him in an armbar from the guard position to make him tap...when it came to striking, I don't think he could stand toe to toe with Rampage...he laid in some heavy shots and got saved at different points of the round due to the round coming to an end. A couple of weeks ago, I thought UFC 74 with Randy/Gonzaga had to be the best PPV's I've ever seen from them, the whole card was just stacked with some solid fights..and seeing George St. Pierre get redemption on that punk Josh Koschek made my night :D. That does sound encouraging, though. Thick as Thieves sounds great, and I am hoping he pulls some songs out of the vault for this tour. It really does seem like the last 2-3 years of touring have featured most of the same songs. I guess we'll see what happens. How many of the shows are you going to? haha thanks i hope i do, too! i know! omg it sold extremely faaast. even at like 12:05 i swear i kept clicking everything and refreshing everything and it was just all completely sold out, it didn't say sold out or anything but i knew it. i've never been there either! i really want to go, and like you said it will be fun because it's the last show of the tour! it'll be a special night! haha oh god i know! i've been patiently getting through all of these months without seeing them! i have to see them in november! haha i am playing all that softball still! i actually am leaving tomorrow morning to go to Syracuse to play softball for a week! if we win in Syracuse then we get to go to Washington State and if we win games there then we can be on tv and play against some other state to determine who wins the whole entire world series championship! so hopefully we do well and win! i don't even mind if we don't make it to washington state, because Syracuse is enough! my birthday is sunday so it's a nice presant to get away for a week or so! thanks, i hope you're having a nice week, too! i am so sorry for making this post so longg!

So I'm pretty sure you heard the news about the UFC coming into New Jersey for their November show, apparently they were planning to do the Lightweight Title Match with Sean Sherk VS BJ Penn but it looks like Sherk is going to get suspended along with Hermes Franca for testing positive on steroids...I have a feeling the Main Event will be Joe Stevenson VS BJ Penn to crown the new Lightweight Champion...so are you planning to see that PPV live? It's going to be in Atlantic City NJ at Taj Mahal...P.S. All of those Dashboard solo acoustic tour dates that are happening, which venue is the smallest out of the 3 dates in New York City? Damn..now that's a sweet ride that you picked up this year... I hate Tim Sylvia too, I was hoping for anyone to take that title, whether it was Andre Arlovski or Jeff Monson..just anyone to get it away from him...and honestly, he's the biggest mark for that title, when he had it, he would always wear it wherever he went like at restaurants and he would even bring it to the gym to train I heard..seriously, who does that? Ahh..I wanted Chuck Liddell to win that fight myself since I thought he had so much momentum that he was just unstoppable..one punch was all it took I guess. I got to meet Chuck Liddell before too since I won a contest where I got to see the private screening of '300' and he was like the unofficial spokesperson for that movie...I have a signed UFC 52 DVD when he knocked out Randy Couture for the Light-Heavyweight Title. As for other MMA fighters, I met Ken Shamrock back in like 1998 as well as George St. Pierre recently..as well as Joe Stevenson, Brandon Vera and the Ultimate Fighter 5 winner Grey Maynard. I kinda prefer the U.S. shows over the Canadian Dashboard shows..but there was one show for the Hurricane Katrina Benefit back in Sept. 05 that was really awesome. There is a huge fanbase here, but he doesn't get alot of airplay or even featured on TV much, not like he is on MTV2 or something...You do have the fans that wait in line for awhile, but for the most part, I find the majority of the crowd is the Hollister, Big Sunglasses, Chanel earings, mall rats :P. I actually went to the Bamboozle Festival in 2006...I was planning to go to the 2005 one, just had a rough time in my life during that period..heh..but by far the best Bamboozle Experience was the Bamboozle Left Festival last October out in California..it was a smaller area since it was like in some University campus field but there was nothing like seeing that Something Corporate reunion set. :) Anyway's later, "AC"

Hey...I never knew you were into MMA as well! :) Oh man...if you told me you were into it at the Knitting Factory, I swear we could have talked for hours and hours..lol.. So who do you got for UFC 74? You think Gabriel Gonzaga is gonna stop Randy Couture the same way he kicked Mirko Cro Cop's head in? I can see Randy taking him to the ground and neutralizing his offence, and then catch him in a kumura by the 3rd round... Randy Couture is my sports hero...one of the best birthday presents I got this year was seeing him dismantle Tim Sylvia for 5 rounds...the sports bar I was watching that fight in had everyone counting down the final 10 seconds of Round 5 like it was freakin New Years Eve...that thunderous ovation was just an awesome way to celebrate my birthday that night. :)

Hey, that is a really sweet memory to have especially since your immortalized on DVD of all things :)..lol..I wouldn't get self-conscious about that at all, you were singing your heart out with the rest of them, heh..I can tell you were really into it..that's awesome..I'm like that too, hell, I'll be the first to admit that I've shed quite a few tears at D/C concerts too, so it's all good. What kind of car did you buy? At one point 2 years ago during the summer, I put 20,000 KM within like a 4 month span..that's what most people put on a car within a year..but I pretty much spent most of that time sleeping in my car and even I think that's a step-up compared to sleeping in a subway station :P.

Just got back from another game - we won after 2 overtimes, 9-8. I'm extremely tired and worn out because all I've been doing is trying to keep everything in order. I'm very good with time management, thank goodness! I mean, I guess it's a good thing to keep busy, but sometimes it just seems to be a little overwhelming. Glad to hear work is goin' and the weather is warm for you, too! I love it, but of course, you understand that it's easy to miss winter! I'm really hoping that there will be a summer DC tour - that would be PERFECT! Hopefully they'll come to Pittsburgh again!!!! Just got back from my first softball game - ever. As I figured, I was a bench warmer, but it's okay, since I've never played before. The good news is, the coach did put me in during the last inning. Anyway, my mom says the exact thing about me driving - I have to learn. My dad got sooooooooooo nervous this past winter with me driving, and I appreciate it, but sometimes it just seems unneccessary. I don't really like to talk about it, but two of my friends died at 16 because of a driving incident, so I think that contributes to their worrying about me. I'm glad to hear your weekend was fun! Now you have to put up with work, huh? Don't feel bad, school isn't that much fun either! Well, at least you get to see Dash - my parents won't drive the whole way out to Philly so I'm stuck with my fingers crossed, praying that they'll come to Pitts. in the summer or something. I have my license and all, but my parents are worry so much and probably would never let me drive on the turnpike alone. Oh well. :-( So how many times have you met Chris? Sounds like you're in for an awesome time! That's so nice that your brother is serving; let him know how much everyone on the Dashboard community appreciates it! ;-) Don't worry, I haven't been to the movies in forever, either. I've been wanting to see so many but of course I end up doing something else. Well, I hate high school, too. It really sucks that I'm only a junior- this year has gone by fast but it's terrible. Everyone in my school is so self-centered and there's hardly anyone who actually cares about anyone else. I should've actually been a senior but my parents held me back for an unknown reason?! Oh well. That was really stupid on their parts, but I forgive them <LoL> So college was good? That's good to hear; hopefully I'll like it, too. I'm sure I will because I'm going for writing and I absolutely love to write. Alright well in case I don't talk to you have a great weekend, let's just hope it doesn't go by too fast! :oP Byes!

I'd rather snowboard than play softball, but you know how that goes. I'm not extremely athletic, but I try. I used to pole vault in track but decided I'd try softball this year instead of just quitting track and not doing anything. I'm sure it would look good on college apps. that I tried a few sports but who knows <LoL> It's been really hot here, too, but right now it's raining. Anyway, sounds like you had a great weekend! I don't really have anything planned for this weekend, but we'll see if something comes up. I could actually just go for a "movie night." And since I've been reading up on President Kennedy, I'll probably end up watching 13 Days or something. Anyway, I gotta go get something to eat before practice - it's from 5:30 to 7:30 tonight - FUN, FUN, FUN! :-) Talk to you soon!

Looks like I'm officially done snowboarding. The sun pretty much melted all the snow around here and like I said, I'm playing softball and "we're not allowed to miss practice." I don't know if that's a good or bad thing, but I guess it kinda makes sense since I never played before in my life. I still hope you get to go Monday. That's also awesome that you got all your stuff 60 percent off ~ I should have done that ~ all my stuff was over $300. Sorry, I would write more but my sister is over my shoulder, begging to get on AIM to talk to her friends so wish me luck tomorrow with the SAT's! TTYL!

Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to meet the guys yet, but I'm looking forward to it, and if they tour in the summer and I go, I will definitely stay until they come out - no doubt about it! Don't worry, your Chris one is adorable - you two both took a great picture. It's funny, I haven't seen Chris NOT take a bad fan-picture yet! And the snowboard thing? Yeah - I'm definitely bummed. I thought I'd be able to go more but some of our trips got cancelled because the of the weather, and softball is now starting for me. It was pretty nice of my parents to buy me a board, though - I love it! Anyway, have fun Monday! And then we'll begin another year of waiting <LoL>

yeah it was a great show, i wish he played more acoustic i loved it though ive been waiting to see him for years, im such a huge fan and have been for so long. i was extremely dissapointed in chris, he knew his freezing fans were out there, ive always wanted to meet him, like the only person in the world im dying to meet, and he didnt show, that made me so upset. but i was soooo excited to meet mike, and scott, im a huge fan of both of them i was so nervous! ive never been so excited!! lol but it was cool to see such loyal fans. idkkkk i wish i couldve seen him when he was still so unknown, i just never got the chance to, i listed to him when i was really young and wasnt able to go to shows, meh its okay though, his concert was incredible i was so happy the whole night. :) how about you? did you love the show too? do you go to a lot of shows? hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving Shan

Well, thank you. I think the same way about you. It seems like a lot of us who have been around for a while have a very different perspective on some things, but it's important to understand the other side too. It's a delicate balance, and I think you get that. It seems so long ago that I was new to the Dashboard scene, and fans that had been around longer always talked about how it had all changed. Maybe I'll see you at a show someday.

i heard from john today, he just confirmed what you already told me. he didn't go into details of course but he didn't seem to broken up about it and said that he would be on the next dc tour...i wonder if that means the next leg of the tour or like in a year. i am still so bummed that i don't get to see him perform his songs this summer. i guess still seeing him, is better than nothing. :(
