yeah i went to see them in pittsburgh on their civic tour. Good show. I saw that one alone too!!! Im hexed. I didnt go to pittsburgh alone but then... long story. They dont come to dc enough either.

Ahh! I'm so jealous that you made it to the other Pittsburgh shows. I missed the one in '04 because I was working as a camp counselor, and then I couldn't make it to the one this summer because I was out of state on an internship. You're right about PA needing to get more love on this tour. The two closest shows to me (State College, PA) are Philly and Baltimore, both of which are over three hours away AND during the week. Awesome pictures from the other shows, by the way!

aren't really reliable. I mean, better than risking something happening to a 300 dollar digital camera. Kinda ticked me off that a lot of people snuck them in. I expected the Amp. to be really strict but they just scanned the tix and were like, "okay, go." Oh well. I have many regrets though, especially not staying after the show being that I wanted to meet Chris so badly and on this site it feels like I'm surrounded by everyone who has met them. Like, no offense to them because I'm happy that all my friends on here have had their opportunity but it's frustrating because I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't met him. But that's where you come in! We're in this together, Molly! And another thing I deeply, deeply regret is not going to meet Ben Lee and Say Anything after they performed. It makes me sick thinking about how I could've had that opportunity but my friend was like, "No, no, we'll lose our spot." But yeah so I'm trying not to think about it. Hopefully this passes. I also didn't get my pictures back, damn Wal-Mart was like, "Sorry, they won't be here until 3" so they are there now and where am I? At my house. LOL Anyway hope you're having a good day and I'll talk to you soon!!!!!

They turned out pretty good! I saw them earlier today and I also read your little myspace thing. I missed Chris' thrust! :( hahaha Yeah I mean I wasn't as close as you are but I'm getting my pics tomorrow, I'll post them if they are good, too. Was that a disposable, by the way? And did you stay after to meet Chris or no? I didn't, don't know if I mentioned that or not. Hopefully next tour, though. I'm remaining optimistic.

That's great that you loved it as much as I did! Best show ever, huh? Yeah it was definitely a memorable night. So exactly how close were you? Yeah make sure you post the pics once they are developed. Did you just take a disposable? Because I did too but a lot of girls snuck in digitals. Anyway I'll read that thing as soon as possible - I wrote in my diary when I got home and it took me a friggin hour lol so I wrote every little detail, assuming you did too. What did you think? I thought was amazing, everything I expected plus WAYYYYYYY more! Where did you end up standing - did you get a good spot? I wasn't really close to the stage, but it was the closest I've ever been. I think I got a lot of decent pictures. I ended up spending 102 on merch, but hey it was well worth it. Did you stay after to meet Chris? I didn't, being that my friend had to drive home and we couldn't risk staying and her getting tired. . . . that this all works out for us. It should be an awesome show. I wanna take my phone in too but like you said I hate taking a risk and with my luck "security" will demand to take it away. Hopefully they didn't change the camera thing either. Like, on the tickets, it doesn't say anything like the St. Vincent tickets did as far as "No bags, purses or cameras." Soooooo I guess we'll have to wait and see! I'm trying to keep busy all this week, hoping for it to fly by. Today I'm going to the mall! LoL Did you see all the new stuff they have in the store on here? Everything is so cute - one girl said they have all of that plus way more at the concerts. So do you plan to be in the front? Yeah ~ I see what you mean. I don't wanna make my friend wait two hours or so but I'm seriously dying to meet Chris. In a local newspaper around here they had a chance to win backstage passes and of course I didn't win them. If anything I can convince her to stay late . . . I don't think we'll be there early, but being that doors open at 6:30 and I want to be in the front row, I'm guessing we'll get there around 5:45-6:00. Yes ~ St. Vincent was awesome!!!!!!! I wonder if anyone waited around after that show - I didn't but being that it was kind of a smaller venue, it probably wouldn't have been as hard to meet him and the guys. Hopefully they'll come back soon though, everytime I drive past the college I yell to my mom, "CHRIS WAS THERE!!!!!!!! CHRIS!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!" LoL and she just rolls her eyes. Anyway were there mosh pits or anything the last time? I don't want anyone to be rough either - I think if anything, they'll be rough when Say Anything comes on. But nonetheless I hope this week flies by for us because I am soooooo looked forward to this. I saved up a ton of money to spend at the concert so I'm definitely looking forward to that too. The only other thing I was thinking is, do you think we can take cameras in??? I really want to get some pics, I don't have a camera phone or anything though so I was thinking a disposable??? And also, I hope someone records this show and puts it on DBClive. That would be the greatest! I keep forgetting that you're going to the August 5th show in Pitts. I'm soooooo excited, it's next Saturday, can you believe it?!!!? Anyway I was just wondering if you have ever met Chris or waited for him to come out after a concert. This will be my second concert but my 1st in Pitts. and I reallllly want to meet Chris and I don't know like, where to go or whatever. Sooooo let me know if you get a chance. Thanks! :)

Oh my gosh, I really am sorry. I can't even imagine...She will be in my thoughts and prayers. I don't know how relevent this is, but the summer before 8th grade, one of my classmates discovered that she had a brain hemerage for most of her life. They had to induce a coma and she had a 50% chance of living. She was extremely lucky and made it through. She still has other problems because of it (such as often seizures and needing a pace maker), but lives a very normal life. Even though I have never been very close to her, I secretly admire her so much. I don't think I could ever be that strong. I sincerly hope your best friend makes it through as well as she did.

Moshing at a dashboard concert?! yikes. This is gonna be my first DC show at this venue so I'm not entirely sure what to expect out of it. I'm thinking of showing up really early.. I really want to be close to the stage because I'm uber short and at st vincents i didnt get my fair share of visual aid.

how did you get an admin pay attention to your account status? i am jealous. oh well this site is driving me batty, which makes me sad. i hope when they get it finished, it will be better and more user friendly. i'm katie btw...i'm sure you have seen me around. i get to see them july 30th too at a festival. i can't wait till they post the new dates because i hate festivals...you have to wait all day to see the band you want to see and then they will cut their sets short. oh well i know i shouldn't complain because it's better than nothing. i am just pouting is all...i really want to see say anything and john ralston too. john and i are friends and he said he would probably ride along and hang out with us before or during their performance. being in the midwest sucks...they better announce more dates soon so my boyfriend and i can plan some road trips. well take care, katie
