Sorry I haven't responded. I haven't logged on for the longest time. I don't pass out stickers or flyers. Once I brought CC flyers to pass out at Summerfest but changed my mind cos I saw tons of CC flyers spread on the concrete. It broke my heart to see people steppin over CC. I'm gonna try posting a picture of CC and I here: ~(never mind, it won't let me send it w/the image, use the link, sorry)~ Its awful, I look like a meth addict without top teeth. This was one of the worst night's of my life. I got hurt at the show early on, missed just about all of it and got treated like shit by security and I was one of the winners of the M&G, too... I was in tears for weeks after the show and I couldn't even talk about it on the boards for a very long time. It would make me sob every time I tried. I can't explain why, since I've been in and worked around the music industry for a long time, so I'm not at all star struck. It was horrible. Any way, if it doesn't here's the link to the photo: ~(shit, that didn't work, either)~ I give permission to look at it. (LOL) Just don't share it. PLEASE! Unfortunately there are no Midwest dates posted. DRAT! The closest city to us is Winnipeg, Canada. Hey! I've got my passport. Might as well put it to good use! hahaha I did a google map and I think it's a 12 hour drive if I'm not mistaken. I know that Minneapolis from Aurora is 6 hours. So yup.. That's about right. I wish that date was on the weekend. I would be really tempted. I hope they post more dates soon - which will include Midwest dates. Let's keep our fingers crossed. There is a 10 day gap from KROQ show (9/15) before they start the tour in Canada (Winnipeg - 9/25). There's hope yet.... :S xoxoxo Es

Yes. I'm going to the Metro show this Wednesday. I'm leaving work around 2:30 pm, going home to shower and eat something quick and then I'm heading out the door by 4 pm at the latest. I'd love to meet up with you and Liligrace. I'm not sure what time you both will be there. I'm concerned about the weather. But what can you do. I'll bring a sweater to wear that I don't care too much if I lose it at the show. Hopefully it won't be too cold. I would like to get there early, but I have to into work, and so does my brother(I'm taking him),so I think it will depend on how late work goes and how psyched I can get him to get there to get good seats. Have you been to Metro before? Are you bringing a camera?

I'm getting kind of nervou about meeting him. In a good way. Did you get any info. on if we pick up tix and passes at willcall? I'm just wondering with it being general admission how early to get there for a good seat. I'll see you there though, hopefully we can meet. Wpuld like to meet Ekovacs to, but not so easy, since she's not going to meet and greet.

I forgot to mention... did you notice my profile pic? It is with Tom Morello. He played Chicago last year for an Uprising Show at DePaul University. It was so low key. He was walking around like a regular person. I was too nervous to talk to him b4 the show started. I am a very shy person "my true nature". I had to push myself and psyche myself up to approach him. I asked him if I could have my picture taken with him. The nice man he is he allowed it. It was right before he was going onstage. Talk about bad timing on my part! I almost missed my opportunity that's why I grabbed it. I also shook his hand when he finished his performance and told him well done.. great show. Others were doing it and I wanted to as well. Tom is not my all time favorite artist either. Chris is. I can imagine that I'd have to psyche myself up ten times more to speak to Chris. What I'm trying to tell you is picture "and practice" yourself meeting him and what you'd like to say or do. Maybe that will help you when you meet him this Wednesday. I am so excited for you!!!

Did you decide about bringing your daughter? I say if you really want to and your hubby going, why not?? My girls are only 3 and 7 mos. My son(11) wanted to, but he wouldn't know a Chris Cornell song if he heard it. Have you been to a meet and greet before? I have a few questions.(Can we bring cameras/ Is it before or after, etc...)
