My Girlfriend and i read your post about why you love chris cornell (the one that was your 2000th post) and we both thought it was a beautiful thing to write and very inspiring, we are both going to the scala gig in london and after reading your post we pledged to try and meet some of the ppl who post on the forums aswell. There was a time in my life, well different points when i was depressed and also going through something of an identity crisis and it was chris music that helped me discover who i was, deal with certain issues aswell, and it also put things into perspective aswell. Thankyou for sharing what he means to you, it was a joy to read.-Lee

Hi Mommyrocker! I noticed that you're from St. Louis and wondered if you were into the band the Urge? If not, sorry to bother you. But if yes, I LOVE THEM! Being in MA I didn't get to see them really early on or see the really crazy shows, but still managed to see them around 16 times! They were such a fun live band to see.

I have kids also. Not to sound crazy, and I wouldn't, but things like this shooting make me want to keep my kids by me all the time. I know you can't, but I freak when I think, 'how can I keep them safe?' Just wanted to comment one mom to another. PS I think we met in line at the Metro.
