Game, young buck, Fat Joe, Dmx, jadakis just to name a few what da blood clod; rap suppose to be entertainment and people are getting too wild. 2009 its time to really stop the violence biggie/pac death should be the example. If these dudes going to battle rhyme for rhyme to see who is the better rapper fine then set up a pay-per view, or make legit battle songs flexin without all that bull; make money together at the end toast drinks you both still would be winners. All this mixing real talk shit like dude being shot, and real negative hood activity, guns, drugs is has fucked up Rap to the point its out of control trying to prove they are real gangs, drug dealers, killers and this is entertainment, your whole career on film. I believe rappers need to focus on being creative here in 2009 making your own music not worrying about the next group unless they call you out to battle if not proceed to talk about positive things that is going on around this planet. sex, money , and drugs is not the only topics to use your talents in rhyming, do a community project make a rap about it, helping the children, showing your grown up man fatherly qualities in your rhymes, business savvy qualities, focus on the HiP=Hop Culture the elements, breakdancin, beatboxin, dj's cuttin & scratchin ,graffi putting them back into your rhymes and videos you still will make crazy cash especally if someone see a heavy weight or 2 artist go in that direction everybody else going to follow. Most of these rappers are millionares it won't hurt to go back to the essense, openning door again for old school/new artist, since 1990 till this day Gangster rap, everybody talking about the same exact thing one subject has been in the forefront, ending alot of tatented rappers careers , talk Love peace and Unity 2009 even if you have to be the first to make that change! I honestly don't believe 99% of All the major mainstream millionare rappers are real street GANGSTERS but have experinced being around that real life style maybe sold drugs or get high and carried guns at some point but not as a TRUE 24 hour hustlers being in a real gang because that lifestyle is 24/7 and these rap dudes are on film most of their career. Dudes that got a break becoming rich in Gangster Rap are Entertainers promoting the TRUE life style of a real well-know Hustler like American Gangster acting as if they are living that life on film got the cash to front like it, can buy 1000 kilo if they wanted too, that big house, gear, get girls as if they are Frank lucas. These dudes leave out all that Drug-thug- gang activity in real life off camera and play the part on record. The media ends up mixing their old bad past before getting into rap and future mistakes into their studio careers so you hear "Rapper"\ drug dealer was shot increasing his studio image as a realer thug! So you as a fan that may be in a gang, sell drugs hear that and bam! "they fake, mixing reality/fantasy When these dudes are entertainers/actors making money. Far as Game being kicked out, I don't know but that happens this is BUSINESS, but I'm sure The Game is not worried about that now being successful with his B.W.S life goes on dude can rhyme, got like a zillion raps under his belt and is paid. you sound bitter towards G-unit calling out 50 as if you actually know him outside of studio record living , he's human this is a business. If you going to hate G-unit you might as hate every other rapper in the mainstream because its all Entertainment fake record talk with some reality mixed in, 99.9% even the GREAT's like KRS-one you think he killed "Peter" in 9mm goes bang? The Birth of Gangster Rap 1987. It's about the Art of story telling being creative being able to do it in any subject! Rap is a business, Hip-hop is the culture. |
