Need some help, please

I am an artist. Yes I am. But I am more into electronic techno stuff than hip hop. The reason I am posting here though is because I was approached by somebody claiming to make a mixtape for 50 Cent, or so he claimed. He also said he needed a remix for 50 cent songs. Since he linked to acapella files the request seemed real. He said his name was DJ young Cee, or something like that. So now I've like posted the remix to the guy through email. After a couple of weeks without no word at all, I asked him what was up. I got a mail back that he didn't get it so I should send back right away, so I sent it again. Now, some days after this I still haven't heard anything from the guy. Do you guys know anything that might help me in this matter? Thank you.
